I put in a ticket for this exact problem on Friday and finally heard back today, on Sunday, telling me to change my email. Oddly enough, once I did the game DIDN"T EVEN ASK FOR THE 2FA and logged me in straight away. Wut?

Remember when T5U came out and people were complaining about it saying they would gladly pay full price for their cannon ships to get full T6 stats? And now exactly that happens and people still complain. :confused:

Did anyone else see the "Tier 6 Andromeda" and think Glorious Heritage Class? That could partly be my fault for not seeing this until the 1st. I know its not Trek but I really want one :P

Hopefully some new guns and clothes and a carrier to top it off. I think one of my characters has some photos from last year, will they still work? (But don't tell the devs)

This is how I understood it too but no game forum has ever thought before reacting. I can't be the only one to notice the amazing performance boost pets got and realize it couldn't be right. Don't get me wrong, I was happy that my little guys were suddenly amazing but a pet having more health than the carrier it is…

As unbelievably upsetting as this is (I was loving the Aquatic pets), is devs coming here to explain why nerfs are made before they happen going to be a thing now? BTW leave my frigates alone they are powerful and sexy and I love them.

I only have one torp build, a plasma on my Sci to give max aux power, but it does seem to be suffering. In the new PvE I can't drain shields like I used to so they lose more damage and the absurd health and resists make the plasma burn more of a nuisance than a weapon.

I personally know 2 players who had it happen to them and have seen maybe 25 people on the forums "claim" the same but I am only inclined to believe half of them.

Wow, this honestly surprises me a lot. Not just that an MMO company is actually correcting a wrong but that they took the time to refund players. I didn't think Cryptic had it in them.

Oh no, an event that comes regularly all year, it must be a desperate last minute attempt to distract players! How about you focus on the REAL problems with this game instead of inventing controversy?

So has there been any PROOF that what OP claims happened actually happened? Or even if his "friend" was banned that his name was the actual reason? Has a single person other than OPs "friend" had this problem? Anyone at all? Or is this hours long crapfest all based on nothing?

He clearly did and ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. I can't believe this is even an issue let alone worthy of this big and immediate of a reaction. How is not naming yourself after a dev, mod, or any official not the most common of sense?

Had the same problem last night, gave up after about 50 tries. Now the launcher won't even load, "Unable to Establish Connection to Patch Server."

WORSE that WoT? I have been playing STO for years now and I have never received death threats because of which ship I fly. In terms of "anit-establishment" whining STO might be worse but for direct player against player antagonism and downright hatred not a chance.

They have already said there will be more traits available outside of ships. This is the first month these traits have existed you know, it is just starting.

Those rewards are based on the effort of completing the entire zone from 0% control to all 3 dinos. If people did that instead of hopping then the rewards would be considered balanced.

Since the exploit was removed, anything that you can still do in Tau Dewa is not the exploit they are talking about. A quick trip there would answer all of your questions. "Working" as in no bugs or glitches. It is performing as it was programmed to.

According to your own source, an exploit uses the "game system," i.e the games working functions, to their advantage in a WAY not intended without "changes or external programs." The game system itself is working just fine, it is the ADVANTAGE it produces that is unintended. Exactly what I said.
