Let the 'Q's Winter Wonderland Winter Event' hype begin please!

So in exactly one month Q's Winter Wonderland Winter Event will commence and there has not been any developer hype or teasing pumping us up for it.
I could swear there was plenty of teasing and tidbits leading up to the Risian Summer Event well this far in advance prior to that one.

I'm looking forward to it particularly because i was not a member of this game back then and i have my eyes on getting the two Breen ships. Hopefully they will be re-appearing.

Also, in parity with the Summer Event, it would be nice if they had the ship discount, buy one at full price of 1000 smackers and your other characters get it for only 40 smackers. And same as the lunalot pearls were account bound i'd be cool if the Q autograph pictures were also account bound so my toons can be socialists.

I can say that as an owner of both the Chel Grett and the Plesh Brek, on one of my characters, the discounted price for the summer ships also applies to the winter ships if you have them.

I assume if they bring out another ship, they will probably make it Tier 6 at this point. I also assume that they will probably keep the last two ships around since there are people who joined after the last event who will need to get the ship.

The thread about correcting player hangar pets did mention the Breen fighters and Plesh Brek frigates, so that all but confirms the Sarr Thein this year.

Hopefully some new guns and clothes and a carrier to top it off.

I think one of my characters has some photos from last year, will they still work? (But don't tell the devs)

i really enjoy the winter and summer events but the only drawback at the moment is there is no space based content in these events, as i am kinda keen to advance my T5U & T6 ship masterys it would be supper cool if there was a space based hourly game in these events that would add to mastery levels.

guess i will just have to remember to do a couple of space pve missions every day when the event is running to keep my scores building.

the problem is when i am playing these events i tend to get wrapped up in them and all else gets forgotten.

i dare say that all the events from last year will be there, see here for all that was there. >

as they now use the alt freindly system then if they do as they did last year and allowed you to pick up ships from previous years and if you have at least 3 characters you should if you play your cards right be able to get all 3 ships on every character you have.
in event rep select one of each of the 3 differant ships as projects on just 3 characters, once you have completed the projects for 1000 photos and received the 3 ships you should be able to get all the ships on every character for 40 pictures each.
