Agreed with the OP - In the 7 years I've played this game I've never used melee for anything. It seems they are trying to revitalize melee combat with a lot of recent items and the KDF recruits, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze on this event. This is a very niche item in my opinion. Not even sure what this sword is…
$250 is literally the price of 4 triple A game titles. Think of how much more value you would get out of buying 4 games like Doom Eternal and Horizon Zero Dawn than this pack.
I don't know what "shut them down" means, I guess you are talking about power drain. The base polaron is one of the most useless in the entire game. This will have almost no affect on other players and probably one of the worst options against NPCs as well. Would not recommend. Way too many better options, even for…
Haha ok >:) Not sure I quite understand what you mean, but raider is my favorite ship class and I've tested almost all of them, something I really enjoy is comparing their capabilities. The Baltim and Miradorn and amazing ships, but they come up short for me. But it depends on what you are looking for in a build, whether…
The Maquis is totally superior. Baltim is very outdated, although both the Baltim and Miradorn come with much better consoles IMO. Maquis raider is unbeatable on the fed side. Still unsurpassed.
Depends on how many of those consoles you're using - the more you slot the greater the chance of proccing. You don't understand how it works, the damage from ERL does not activate the console. There is only a chance to activate the heal when you use attack powers if I remember right i.e. FAW, CRF etc.
"This is a curious comment and I would be interested to see anything that backs this up. Do you frequently run Elite Content using Single Cannons? If so.. which ones?" I do it all the time. I'm using covert phaser single cannons on a Maquis raider. ISE, HSE, Starbase One elite, whatever I can get into. Not sure why you…
Yes and you can have too much cycle haste. It will actually slow your firing rate down. When I tried using emergency weapons cycle, calm before the storm, and exceed rating limits with DOMINO and other stuff it actually made the build worse. I think I read a while back that there is a cap on cycle haste but I don't know…
I didn't ask what pols are already available, I'm not new to this game. I'm saying they should give us more pols, specifically in the next lockbox and lobi store. :|
I believe placate is countered by high aux power and points in drain expertise. Actually I don't think it's even possible to stop placate entirely, but just reduce it's duration against you. As far as the above post, I assume you are talking about Intel team? I'm not sure what "intel power" you are referring to. Intel team…
Are you wanting a science build on a pilot escort? I would look into the scout ships, they are sci raiders. The recent jellyfish ship is probably the best one so far, but expensive. I think the pilot maneuvers are obsolete now with the speeds attainable these days. If you could keybind the dash maneuvers I think it would…
Also if you have two of those same doffs, you will not get a 30% chance to activate, but two separate 15% chances. Those good at math can explain it better than I can. :p
What I think it means is if you have like 15% chance on activating science to get +25% exotic dmg, it does not stack if you activate more than one sci ability if it's already activated. If you use two of the same doff, you have increased chance to activate the same power but it does not give you +50% exotic dmg. It just…
I don't know if the console even works at all - tried it last night with DPRM and there was no difference in damage numbers. Very confusing - when does it activate? Seems like it should work whenever a universal console is activated, but the damage bonus only applies to consoles with a passive or active damage bonus?
The game has not kept up with the power creep. But seriously, what is up with the bosses that just sit there motionless? Why can't they make these ships actually MOVE like a space battle? Donatra, the Vaadwaur juggernaut in Korfez, the Voth Citadels, pretty much every space boss does not even move in this game.
Yeah thanks man :D Probably is one of the better videos I've done. Happy to hear someone likes the music, some people complain about it but babies gonna cry right? It's crazy to think how much faster my ship is now since I made that - time for an updated build video!
The prolonged engagement phasers are top-shelf weapons that are probably one of the best non-lockbox weapons in game, along with the trilithium phasers. They are very good on maps where you are in constant combat like Starbase One. Here's a good demonstration of a phaser cannon build with both of those weapons:…
No one in the game refers to them as kits, doesn't matter what you choose to call it. But I guess we're wrong for not knowing your own made up ideas. :/ Yeah the crafting system as it's referred to is no longer relevant, at least to end-game players, for weapons at least. But adding stuff to it like deuterium surplus is…
Whatever you think kits are, they are not what you are referring to so your post is very confusing. You are not talking about kit modules. I guess you are talking about tech upgrades? No idea. The crafting system has been obsolete for a while now. I only use it to craft consumables like batteries. Almost all of the mods…
That winter kit that adds cold damage to your attacks is pretty awesome. Also the cold-based science kits. I would love to see some cold-based space weapons added to the game. Revenge is a dish best served cold!! :D
