The photon launcher is effectively the 'blast assault' type weapon in game. Even the effects are sort of there. :) Though yeah, a wider variety of special weapons would be pretty cool. :) (kind of wish there was an Arc-welder kind of rifle too!)
None. I refuse to take part in grind content anymore, despite the rewards. :) Already took a couple of week long breaks from the game because of short-term burn outs; if I did this on even a single one of my 9 lvl 50 toons, I'd probably leave this game for good. :(
Problem is it'll get replaced by STO music after every patch. Technically the game should check at every startup and replace those files with the game's... other tried before and ran in to this problem I believe. :(
No clue as I don't own any of those ships yet, but technically it should work for every ship. :) I have had success editing the livery on my Orion ships for example and they don't have any other parts to chose from in the first place. Beware that paintjobs look rather subtle on some ships, but I believe you could at least…
Ship tailor is bugged. When editing a ship: Click a base configuration on the left, for example: Galaxy/Celestial... etc. Then select the colors you want to use, then go to the advanced tab and - change ship parts manually if you wish - apply patterns to the hull. Done! :)
You must be extremely unlucky in that case I guess. :/ Maybe somehow you always managed to queue up to runs where someone eventually screwed up. I'm not sure, but I think you have not said whether these were Public Queue runs (which I assume were, because you stated 'the mission was already failed when you got into it'),…
Solution: Don't do PUGs. Join PublicEliteSTF or some other channel, where you can group up with people, who know how to do these missions. If you join a PUG, chances are even an ISE run will be screwed up by someone... Also, if the team lacks in DPS, just appoint a highly mobile person [preferably with higher DPS] to guard…
It's the 25th century, everything's possible [in STO]! You obviously haven't re-played any of the time traveling missions, where 23rd century D-7 class garbage haulers barrage you with a set of bioneural torpedos, circa 200 years before they first appeared in canon.
Someone's playing the exchange, that simple. I singlehandedly managed to press down the price of keys by over 300k for a brief period of time in the past, naturally it stabilized rather quickly - in about 6 hours it was back at the price I started from. Now, since everyone wants to buy low, and sell high, you can imagine…
You probably have over 300 mails including the return mails, since you said you packed quite a lot of stuff up. Try deleting non-important messages and start clearing out your returned items, that way the other 'non-visible' mail will keep appearing as you get rid of the ones you actually see.
One of my XOs has been waiting to be turned into an actual Kriosian hottie for over a year now. Other than that, I'd love to have Suliban crew (which we will probably have in a few months time) and - strictly FED side :D - a Chalnoth science officer.
Even worse, I just bought all the low-lvl Orion FDCs and Gorn ships last weekend, so that about completes my collection FED/KDF side... I don't mind having had paid for the ships I bought during the sale, but if any of them turn out to be the up for grabs in the give-away, it's going to be one bitter pill to swallow. :D…
Boohoo! I'm probably missing out on the freebies, because I'm only missing 3 <T5 ships, though I'm happy for you guys. :) Still, fingers crossed one of them will be a Bellerophon or a Rhode Island. :D Or... even a D'kyr! Edit: changes are apparently being made on the D'kyr on Tribble? Gotta love intuition
This should go to the Ten Forward; but anywho... as the NX didn't even have shields, it's a clear win for the Miranda. Also we could see in 'In a Mirror, Darkly', that even a Constitution class ship could easily deal with multiple mirror NX class ships (which were apparently better armored and equipped than their…
It's strange how no-one noticrd how the OP is an LTS so therefore the EC cap can't be reslonsible for this matter. I'd submit a ticket if I were you if you haven't already and hope for a quick resolution...
Have you seen the dilithium exchange lately? Or in the past few months? Hundreds of thousand zen points on the exchange! HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS!!! There's probably more than a million total Zen in game, that hasn't been spent yet. I don't think the vast majority of the STO playerbase are so "poor". I myself couldn't really…
I guess it's totally random. I remember last May I got about 12 refugees in a row, from all the support missions spread across and I just gave up doing them after that - and lately I've had more success, I only get a refugee every 1 in 5 times and sometimes it's only a 25% to crit it.
