Another big difference, and the reason I chose the white genie, is their starting ability. I figured +50% flying speed would be useful for catching people running away in PvP or for racing to those wraith events =).

I also have claw on my herc. What you need to realize bash is frontloaded damage and it takes claw 4 swings to overtake the damage of bash. Pounce is only really good for pvpin my opinion, for stopping someone from running away pretty much. Pounce doesn't help herc get agro at all, for defensive purposes if stopping the monster from hitting herc for 3 seconds is even noticible you're probably in trouble anyway. I got quite a few from lofties, I also got some from the chisler guys around Angler's. Those guys are on the ground, so that would be an alternative if you didn't want to fight in the sky.
