Translation: Could they please fix the Paladin shift? It is supposed to grant immunity to CC, yet certain CW and HR powers ignore that immunity. Even so much as an acknowledgment of this issue being looked at would be greatly appreciated. At least, I think that's what he meant. I don't PvP, so I don't know which…
Kelemvor, have mercy on this misguided soul. He knows not his massive failures at logic. But seriously, by your definitions of bugs and features, the Paladin feat Vengeful Judge is supposed to do absolutely nothing. And that is as far from correct as anyone could possibly get.
Bug: Echoes of Light Only resets the cooldown of Burning Light. No other power is affected. Edit: I believe I was wrong about this. Seems to be working fine now that I figured it out. Feedback: Echoes of Light The floater texct that tells you that you have Echo only appears after the power that consumed it is used. There…
I'm also noticing no difference with or without Solitude. I don't have any summoned companions while testing, so that isn't a factor. I used nothing but Radiant Strike against the two Thayan Knights near the entrance of Dread Ring and waited for respawns a few times. My highest damage (not counting crits) with Solitude on…
This won't fix anything. Fox, Constricting, and Binding are enough to perma daze with the insane amount of cooldowns that can be had. New roots override old roots, so you'll be able to daze things that are already dazed. And while testing this, I found out I didn't even have the Ancient Roots feat. When I put points into…
To add to abaddon's observations: Go to the Well and fight any group that contains a Thayan Knight. They will die as quickly anything you would find in any other zone. Fighting a group that doesn't contain a knight takes much, much longer. The vast difference in the amount of health between two mobs in the same zone cannot…
Feedback: Vigilance Is it necessary to have the floater text appear with every instance of a power coming off cooldown? I feel like it would only be needed to have the fifth one show rather than constantly being told that Vigilance is not yet fully stacked. Feedback: Bane I'm digging the new gold color to it. Not sure when…
Situational is the word you people are looking for. Shame that CSH requires an unnaturally specific setup though. And while we're on the subject: Feedback: Cold Steel Hurricane This could be a great power that packs a lot of punch, and it does under one certain circumstance. But a ranged power that requires a melee trigger…
This was recently posted in the GF thread. This should easily make up for the drop in damage that occurs after level 20 or so. It also boosts threat generation, though I have to admit I have no idea how well or poorly a Paladin can hold threat.
Those powers don't have the border around them that is unique to paragon powers. And I did go to preview to respec to MoF. Both of powers are available to both paragons.
Feedback: Longstrider's Shot/Gushing Wound In my opinion, the weaker of the pair that were just added. I don't like large run speed bonuses like the one Longstrider grants. Perhaps it has some PvP utility, but I have always found that suddenly making someone run like lightning hurts more than it helps, especially when this…
Bug: Certain maces are now swords The only one I've seen so far is the Black Earth Mace that you get as soon as you enter the Drowned Shore. Or perhaps this isn't a bug at all, you sneaky devils. Bug, I think: Tooltips The damage for Shielding Strike and Divine Lunge aren't shown in the tooltip. You can see how much they…
Bug: Arms of Hadar The arm itself goes to where your character was looking at the time of casting. The red zone that shows where it will hit can be seen by other people. Feedback: Arms of Hadar Way too powerful. Hits almost as hard as a max power Killing Flames, but in an AoE. Starts off with a 2 second cooldown which…
Bug: Shadowy Disappearance It has no cooldown when used from stealth. If this is intended, then the tooltip makes no mention of it. The first hit doesn't auto crit when used from stealth. While the Saboteur feat One With The Shadows is active, using this power doesn't restore stealth. Feedback: Shadowy Disappearnace It…
More like tens, potentially hundreds, of thousands of temp HP. I get over 30k using the freebie weapon from the Drowned Shore without any enchants or buffs. A fully decked out Paladin with a party providing buffs should easily get 100k THP out of a single use of this power. That just ain't right.
Around 10 seconds, which is short enough to be able to use again before your 30k+ Temporary HP run out. And you have Heroism to fill in any gaps that might appear. And shields that reduce the damage you take by a significant margin.
I ran into the same roadblock. If you aren't level 39 by that point, you get locked out of quests. On a related matter, I found it odd that Tower District quests suddenly jump up 2 levels at the end, leaving you that much below everything unless you go out of your way to pick up a couple levels.
Feeback: Oath of Devotion's Sanctuary I feel like this is just too powerful. It starts off as an okay heal before you take an oath, but getting 12 times stronger when you hit level 30 turns you into an unkillable machine. This really became apparent for me when I started pulling everything in the Xinclar Enclave and…
I was one of those in that group. To slightly expand on what was said already: With that many stacks active at once, the once mighty Charthraxis was incapable of doing more than a couple hundred damage to me at a time, even when I was purposely getting hit by his hardest attacks. Feedback: Counter-productive features Since…
>set level 70 >respecfull >Testcritterlevel 70 regen_dummy_degen Those were the only commands used before we saw how much HP he has. None of those affect HP directly. I find it more likely that Paladin's simply have GF-like HP at this point in testing.
The one in the dev stream had 32k HP at only 20 Con with no gear. Unless the Paladin's HP boost from Con changes before release, it's safe to say that OPs will have as much HP as GFs.
This reminds me of the time when me at 14k and 4 other 14k people did enough damage to almost kill their head in the first round. Can you imagine how much we would have failed if we were all under 16k, oh wait a minute. It's as if gear score is almost completely meaningless.
