The above strat is exactly correct, just one little thing: If it helps to avoid the hags that are chasing you, you don't have to wait until the red fully disappears. As soon as the lightning(or whatever it is?) shoots across the red, you can safely run across it.
That's nice. Go ahead and have as many official accounts in as many places as you'd like. It doesn't bother me one bit if the devs or community people use those things. Some of us just don't want to be forced in to checking multiple platforms for information that could easily be copy / pasted into a forum post.
It's absolutely happening on PS4. I went to get my weeklies from Sybella, and spent more time there than it took to run 5 dig sites to complete the River District quest. A couple of times, I summoned my signpost, and before I could get the "x" to interact to appear, the signpost de-summoned. It's always the chickens.
I think that old "surprise" was actually the mount system update. I don't recall any professions update happening. Also, if they consider Masquerade of Liars, Winter Festival, and Feast of Lanterns to have been "refreshed", I have very low hopes for future "refreshes".
Let's not forget about Juma bags. Aside from those chickens, it was nice to actually have some hope of something interesting dropping from those. Now, if HE's had a chance of dropping loot similar to Juma bags, they might actually be a tad more interesting after the first time.
There was consensus in a CDP a while back that there are altogether too many currencies, and that an aggregated reward vendor would be welcome. Fire this vendor altogether, and just convert all existing adventurer shards / drops to Tarmalune trade bars. That store recently had a decent update, and it would save dev time to…
My Warlock "healer" was grouped with 4 DPS in Tiamat just a couple of days ago (i.e. no tank), so that might debunk your Paladin theory. And no, none of the DPS were either Barb or fighter in a DPS loadout, they were 1 Wizard, 1 Ranger, 2 Rogues.
Granted this was on ps4, but I thought I'd seen the same thing not too long ago. It turned out there was a stray Glaberzu (sp?) hiding between Demogorgon's legs, preventing a new purple from spawning until it died. Perhaps watch out for that?
