I don't recall the exact date, but PS got a patch on or around March 5th. There was definitely a download, and I cannot find patch notes for it anywhere.
There was a somewhat recent change to the power so that it shoots directly at your reticle rather than requiring a target. There may have been some side effect introduced there. In my experience, even before that change, Searing Javelin always had targeting issues when the mobs are at a different elevation than the player.…
Do you mean the 4th slot on the mount saying "HAMSTER type preferred"? It means that ANY insignia of that type gets a 20% bonus to the stats it gives if you put that kind in that slot. So, if you put a regal in a slot that "prefers" a crescent, you get the stats the regal says it gives. (You might want to ignore the…
I've also felt "picked on" by the ice mechanics in this trial at times, as if every time it popped, I was the one encased. This has happened on my Cleric, Warlock, and Rogue, so it may not be a class thing. I'll echo the other comments: part 1, stay on the rug. Part 2 / 3, crowd around whatsisface or the manticore.
And their solution was to take it out of the choice pack, and have it in the lockbox only. So now what do I get when I finish that part of the "Hero's Path"? A black opal?
On PS4, my Cleric (who has never once intentionally "animation canceled") is just fine. I'm not forced to use Divine Glow at all as is your claim, without any divinity issues. I can still keep groups alive as well as before. Also, my AP gain is such that I can still cast a perma-angel. If you care enough to DM and ask…
Once a campaign becomes "legacy", I feel like any special keys rewarded or bought thru the campaign should be converted to an alternative method of obtaining a skeleton key, while the chests in any related dungeon or trial should accept a skeleton key. I also feel like if I queue for a random trial, the number of chests I…
When Pwent gets possessed in the Dwarven King questline, you have a mechanic where he cannot be damaged past a certain amount of HP until you follow the proper procedure of dragging him to the gold circles. So, y'all have the code to "stop" incoming damage to a mob. "It's hard" is a pretty sucky reason to leave something…
Thank you to those who have elaborated upon what I was trying to imply about a mod being a mod and not a community advocate. Also, I second the nomination of @autumnwitch
Perhaps posting the job description, or at least some semblance of it, would help people to identify nominees who meet your criteria. Not that I personally think there aren't already suitable nominees; it just seems that if you're still asking, then you'd like to see a larger pool, and so why muddy the waters with…
I do not agree that these seals are useless. I do, however, agree that the recent change to seals vendors was less than helpful. There were complaints here on the forums of "show me stuff for other classes" letting us buy bound to character equipment, which was useless. Rather than change the bind status to allow us to…
There's something more wrong than that - I've received % to the weekly on my cleric in full heals loadout, and received 0% toward the weekly on my warlock who has been damaging the drider from the onset of the fight thru to the end.
I agree, please no more "vendor trash" in treasure chests. Personally I feel like the best thing I ever find in them is a green insignia, and that's rather sad. Let's start a list of things we'd like to see. I'll try to be realistic and not ask for companion / mount upgrade tokens or GoPs or mythic weapons. Insignia powder…
I totally agree. I actually ran it twice in the same day for the first time since... umm... some long time ago. The initial shock of seeing 0/100 was kinda big, but after seeing it actually is a %, it's a welcome change. Thank you!
Hmm. I see both sides here. Maybe just tone down the mobs' damage and HP slightly (5 - 10%?) Also, people need to learn what to do with the balls. Perhaps the giant text that pops up telling you what to do with them needs to be bigger ;-)
So, I got the quest to 4 / 4 last night without grouping up as suggested. The funny thing is, I did nothing different on this Cleric. I've updated nothing (insignias, companion powers, etc) since not getting the updates. Same powers, same rotation. The only difference I can imagine is that this time, there was no HE zerg…
Last night, same issue for both myself and at least 1 other in zone chat. Participated in the worms / "Fungal" HE, definitely did damage throughout, healed throughout, and the quest remains at 0/4.
I guess everyone has a different view of what is "supposed" to happen. The way I see it, Halaster created Undermountain based upon real world areas. Just because we saw Undermountain first, doesn't mean the Depths weren't always there. I just got to Whispering caverns with a new alt, and the first solo instance we're sent…
The only other thing that comes to mind for me is, sometimes those mobs who spawn out of the mounds in the ground are a bit slow to appear. I've moved forward thinking I was done, only to have to go back to a room to clear a few more. Of course, if you've tried 15 times, I'd assume you'd have noticed if that was the case…
I recently completed this on an alt without issue, so it is do-able. I'm on PS though. Just a couple of thoughts that I don't see specifically mentioned here. It seems like it might be a 'stuck in combat' issue, so have you tried: a) waiting until your companion wins the fight on the other side where it teleported? or, b)…
