Obsidian shirts and pants

The Collections page states that the Obsidian shirts and pants can be obtained in the Campaign store as well as drops from Fire Giants during lockdown. I have finished the campaign and cannot see any Obsidian shirts or pants in the campaign store, and I have easily killed over a 100 Fire giants and have yet to see any drop shirts or pants. So how does one obtain them? And please don't ask for screenshots, you guys made the game, just look for yourselves please.

    The obsidian shirt or pants are dropped on the ground randomly after the commander is killed and you need to pick it up yourself. i.e. you need to locate it and then 'f' it.

    These are what I got so far:



    In terms of campaign store, my character has not completed the campaign. Hence, I don't know if the store will be expanded after I complete it.

    They do drop from the commanders, but rarely. And even it happens, you can get a duplicate. And they're bound, so you can't sell your duplicates or buy anyone else's. It will take ages to complete this part of collections :(

    Not like the other rare drops (companion gear and the artifact set)... these can be sold on the auction house or bound versions can be bought from the campaign store, so collecting those seems possible (but maybe expensive).

    I've never seen any vanity pets drop either.

    I only have one so far and I don't remember it was from the fire giant or HE.

    I see them on the "Armor" page of the campaign store. I don't recall exactly when they appeared, but it was fairly early on.

    I wish you were right, but I checked yesterday and it's the blue ones in the campaign store (is it basalt? not sure).

    Sorry, I was mistaken. I did not realize there was another tier allegedly dropping from giants. All I've ever seen from them is vanity items. And HE's, I've seen rings, but nothing else.

    You need to check the ground after the commander is killed. You may need to wait for some seconds to make sure because sometime there is a delay. The drop can stay on the ground for a long while (longer than regular junk drops) though since sometime, when I went back later, there is a lone drop on the ground.

    Thank you. I do always wait until the corpse disappears, but apparently just have poor luck.

    Vanity pets (at least Planebound Flamespiker) drop from HE (at least confirmed from BHE):
