Thanks for the replies, I've check out Wikipedia and ascertained the correct order in which to read them, I was just thrown off course by the fact that "Servant of the Shard" was originally in the "Paths of Darkness" tetralogy, but then later listed as the first book in the " Sellswords" trilogy. Now was this done because…
I doubt after the whole qq where is my Drow fiasco that there will be any comments on anything content related unless done so by a PW moderator. Nothing to do but sit patiently and wait.
They did mention that foundry missions scale to the player, but if you have a level 6 and a level 38 walk in together, who will it scale to? Only way i can foresee high and lower lvls questing together is if the do bring in the sidekick system, scaling content to match players that are different lvls will not work.
Looking at the different packs ie founders and guardian, it states that people who bought the founders pack get and extra 3 slots on launch and I believe guardians was one extra . These extra slots are on top of the existing two slots you start with so I dare say they will charge for extra slots.
I'll be doing some tests once i get a companion to see how much of an assist they give, but honestly I cant imagine it being that great that it would make a huge difference whether it was summoned or not.
In that same video I believe they mentioned that the reason they are bringing out said classes is because they are finely tuned. Would you like them to bring out the other two classes if their mechanics are not working properly? As for it not being optimal for you, well.... しょうがない (unlucky) As for your second worry they…
Trust that it is written. In regards to the Alpha NDA still in place, one can assume that only a certain part of the game will be open to testers this weekend, certain dungeons, level cap, certain areas etc and as Alpha's have most probably had unrestricted access, I'm sure there are some things they don't want Alpha's…
My understanding is that everyone would be on the same sever, I could be wrong, but that being the case there would be no need for an Oceanic server unless you are worried about in game events.
Zeek mentioned that it held a little aggro, my guess would be it has a taunt ability on CD and will give you a slight respite before you pull the aggro back.
As Cryptic has not really yet released any concrete information on the classes besides the 5 starter classes (even then they have been vague) we cannot compare this game to CO, but if your opinion is that they will be similar to those of the CO archetypes I can only hope that Cryptic has learnt from CO and has improved on…
Also nothing had been released as of yet for the GF but the GWF at level 30 has access to two different class specializations: Iron Vanguard and Swordmaster (known as Paragon Paths). Definitely interested to see how this will change the classes role if at all.
Guardian Fighter appears to be a tank orientated class (they use a shield and their go to move is a block instead of a swift dodge) where as the Great Weapon Fighter is your two handed DPS class (appear to only use two handed weapons). I'm also guessing the dmg and survivability of the two classes will differ a fair bit.
