  • I've had loot explode and land where I can't get it, it's not lazy it's wanting to get the loot that falls from the mob I killed.
  • They see traps just fine, the problem is it's not instant. When you walk into a room or hall you have to pause for a second for the traps to show up. Solo I do this all the time, if I grouped I can see where this would be a problem because people don't want to wait.
  • DDO had a trap system that, in some areas, you had to let the rogue go first or you were simply going to wipe. It was kind of fun, but people complained that the areas couldn't be done without a rogue. So there is good and bad, your right though currently the trap system is little more then an annoyance.
  • Not sure why you relate loot exploding and potentially falling off areas your standing on to us saying we want loot handed to us but ok your opinion I guess.
  • I never understood this and have hated it from the first loot I had to chase. I agree, just let it appear where the mob dies I killed the mob don't make me chase (and at times lose) the loot.
  • What you said is the same thing I said about Rift when it launched. This game resembles that game to me in the fact that they both have some interesting things going for them, but ultimately the replay factor is low. Same starting location for everyone, only two character slots for free players, quest line the exact same…
  • Actually for me it's really easy, I played EQ at launch and loved it for years. I played WoW at launch and liked it for years. After so long I get MMO A.D.D. it seems and look for something new. I have played most MMO's that have been released sense EQ first released in like 1999. This is free so I play it for now, I won't…
  • Improvement is subjective really in this case. They made it easier, that's a fact, does that make it better? That's up to each player.
  • Leveling seems based on doing quests and quests alone. I haven't done any PvP or skirmish and my character is keeping up perfectly with leveling as the quests are given to me. If they were to nerf exp it would force people to do things they don't want to do because they would be given quests they are under leveled to do.
  • That's correct, you can't play with your friends online now eat your veggies and go to your room and while in there write 1000 times I'm not entitled to anything in this world.
  • I want what this guy is having.
  • I won't roll need on something the character I'm currently using doesn't need, but don't say I "can't use" it because I can sell it for AD if I want and I NEED them. Again not an argument I'd use, but it can't be ignored either. Bottom line is unless your with guild mates or RL friends expect no courtesy in an MMO and just…
  • I guess he said Ninja's exploiting the loot system, maybe he has proof ninjas actually play the game and know of a loot exploit?
  • Your topic says ninja and exploit. You spoke of neither?
  • See I might agree but you use the wrong example. I checked out EVERY vendor for ID scrolls and didn't find them. Not because I'm rushing or lazy, but because I don't buy with ADs so I NEVER checked any AD vendor. Just like I checked the AH once, for the quest, but when I saw it was only for ADs I never went back.
  • Come back to the forums after "launch" and tell me what will have changed (other then bugs fixed, which will continue to happen after launch so that doesn't count). If there is no character deletion, if there is not limits on what you can do, if you have to pay for respecs it's a launch I don't care what they call it.
  • I think the OP is basically saying earning the AD's it would take to get everything that someone can get if they buy Zen would take forever. Possible? Sure, but not realistic. To say you can get "anything" people can get with Zen simply by earning AD's could very well be true, but it's not realistic.
  • Honestly if there wasn't crafting items in things I loot I wouldn't even know there WAS crafting in this game. There is no started quest for crafting like most games have, there is no explanation as to what benefit crafting is to you, there is nothing really to get you to craft unless your looking for it.
  • I actually thought of this as I sifted through the multitude of runes I had in my bags. Between two stacks of each potion (bound and not bound), two stacks of scrolls (bound and not bound) and various stages of fused runes your bags get pretty full. Toss in the various kits your given and then the other temp consumable…
  • This is one reason why I play with real life friends or solo. Very few games get the loot part of a game right, games that do fix this problem by giving individual loot. That takes all the guess work and argument out of it. That a new MMO would come out without a system like that just shows how out of touch the devs are.
  • Haven't spent a dime and not sure I will. Seems pretty fun so far, but honestly this has to be the biggest money grabbing game I've seen so far. If I did it would just be to unlock character slots to check them out without deleting previous characters.
  • The problem I have with playing for a respec is when they change how a skill functions. If they buff/nerf a skill you should have the option to respec as it no longer functions as it did when you picked it. Other then that I the pay to respec falls in line with the pay for everything else you want game. This is why I'm not…
  • Honestly I play on a PS3 (mostly sports games and FPS) and when I play on a PC I never want to use a controller. Seems to me with an entire keyboard as well as a mouse if a game is set up to translate to work well with a controller it's probably a very simple game. I haven't tried this game yet (still downloading) but…
