In order to have 6 coins saved up a player has to wait/log in/refresh for 6 days or 144 hours. I am saying that a player who has prayed for 6 days, saved 6 coins, and lost them in this 12 hour + downtime has lost 144 hours of coins.
It sure does, except when you can't log in. My buddy lost 5/6 of his characters coins, of which he logs in religiously every day to pray/refresh. Hard to log in on a game that is down. Hard to not be angry when there was no contingency plan for this sort of problem in the first place.
With all due respect, it should be foresight for your company to have coding that automatically refreshes every single player's coins at or before server up after a downtime like this. This is by far the most short-sighted game company that I have ever had the pleasure to game with. Except, I don't play Cryptic/PWE games…
I see what you are saying but at that time Armor Penetration will still be a limiting statistic because it will still have values above a certain amount that are useless in PvE.
The gear score system is quite flawed imo. DPS classes can stack HP and get a very high gear score while having very bad DPS stats... for instance. Trading a bit of, "gear score," for a set bonus and similar stats is very worthwhile. Don't pay attention to Gear Score, pay attention to your power/crit/arp.
Wisp - like a 3/3 orb of imposition Stone - cus stone (helps max out armor pen) Cantankerous Mage - like a 3/3 orb of imposition Phoera + Soulforged - oh I died, oh I'm alive and have bonus power and regen Were-rat - replaceable
It was not difficult to figure out on my own, tbh... Not sure if it's intended to work this way, just bad programming imo. I do enjoy super adrenaline mode daily, though. As an Archer spec, I can only possibly get 3 max Cooldown on Thorn Ward and Rain of Arrows because of their casting times... usually only two.
I agree that Armor Penetration is a problem, where having too much is a detriment to other statistics. I think that a better solution would be to change the way that Armor Penetration works as a stat, so that having too much of the stat provides a benefit, or bonus Armor Penetration over the defense value of a target is…
The mechanics for DoT effects in this game need to be worked on. In WoW, DoT effects have had several revisions to prevent clipping of DoTs, and to give them an overall better functionality. I'm not sure how long it will be until that happens here. Until then, I really don't see how a Paragon Path based on DoT will be…
I'm not trying to spam, but I would like to respond. You see, prior to the change, Master of Archery would, "When you crit with a ranged attack, guarantee that your next attack crits." Now, it's, "When you crit with a ranged attack, guarantee that your next encounter crits." I hope that you can see the major difference…
Check again, the feat now only affects encounters. Just read it. I have tested it and it only affects encounters. Also, it's quite bugged when used with certain encounters.
I agree with this assumption regarding the use of the term, "Bug fix." I feel that this change is major enough to warrant a free respec token because it alters my perception, as a player, of that entire paragon feat path. Very well put.
I see what you're saying but I don't agree. Fixing a bug and then also changing functionality... it is just wrong to assume that it was just a, "Bug fix." However, by calling it a bug fix it removes any responsibility for Cryptic/PWE to offer HR players a free respec token. It's not about having a knee jerk reaction. It's…
So by doing exactly as what it was worded to do, it was bugged? The functionality has been changed to the point where it no longer even affects At-Wills, that is a MAJOR reason why I chose that feat line. Previous wording stated that, "When you crit with a ranged attack, guarantee that your next attack will crit." Funny…
So, you're just going to troll? It's a major DPS loss because even at 100% crit rating those encounters do such little damage that it doesn't make up for the loss of damage on At-Wills, which is where HR gets their main source of damage. I ALREADY bought a respec in order to refine my Archery build, now I would rather go…
So, when should respecs be given? A keystone feat was not only changed in wording, but overall functionality while at the same time being TOTALLY bugged in regards to several encounters for the class. I have already tested it. I've already bought a, "respect," token. I refined my build at level 60, why should I have to buy…
The Master of Archery buff does NOT GET CONSUMED. AKA I use one At-Will, it crits, I get Master of Archery, now I can never use another At-Will and crit on every one of my encounters as long as I use Thorn Ward, Split the Sky, and Rain of Arrows... they all crit 100% while also not consuming Master of Archery.
Master of Archery is totally FUBAR bugged now. Mater of Archery does not get consumed when using Split the Sky, Rain of Arrows, and Thorn Ward... Once Master of Archery procs, using those encounters, it never goes away and everything procs 100%.... The irony is that the dps still SUCKS at 100% crit rate because HR At-Wills…
This NEW Master of Archery feat was implemented BUGGED, yet we do not receive a respec... very very unfair tbh. I am a paying customer and that is my opinion.
I suppose I should also mention that this NEW version of Master of Archery is totally bonkers bugged when used with Thorn Ward. When Master of Archery is procced, and then Thorn Ward is cast, Thorn Ward crits every time until another encounter is used and then Thorn Ward stops critting. Thorn Ward does not consume the…
