Back to the PvP is dead and no one plays it stuff again I see. I played PvP with about 20 other people in Ker’rat today, 1 v 1 a dude, and did an arena match. Pretty typical day. You all keep acting like there’s just tumble weeds blowing around in PvP communities. We have several active discord servers, play daily, and…
Here’s an idea: instead of having to run the same mission for 14 days, why not make the reward come from a different queue each day? Give people a chance/reason to play stuff that never pops.
I can’t help but laugh at the “pay to not play” concept. Something is wrong with the game when people will throw money at you to not have to play it. Then again, no one really has to play it. Uh oh ....
I think it could be argued that Archer’s character shows a great deal of development. He goes from a state of innocence to having to constantly remind himself of the reasons he decided to become a captain after the traumas inflicted by the Xindi/Temporal warm.
Yeah, I try to get ahead of these things. I don’t start reps one at a time, or even one toon at a time. Whatever the commodity they end up requiring, I’ll want to have the amount needed to reach tier 6 on all the toons I do it on just by doing the sliders once a day.
Ship builds, reputation progression, traits, doffing ... most areas need an in-game place to go for info. I think you’ll be able to crowdsource a lot of info just in threads like this. From there, you just need to refine and tweak them into written lessons. I’d avoid adding a bunch of tutorials. Instead, use some of the…
I want the theme song to replace the regular STO music in sector space. “It’s been a long road, getting from there to here...” ENT is definitely the least bingeable trek on Netflix, and solely because of that terrible song.
Can we start a fleet called “[Name of Fleet That Does This] Cheats Players” and actively recruit in the recruitment thread? I’m sure we’ve got more than five who’ve been fleeced to get it started and make it legit.
If you follow the link that Where2r1 posted you will find a link in the thread that I posted. If you were in the same fleet that the OP of that post was, then you will see they did the same thing to me and a group of other players, and that they have been doing it regularly for at least a year. They set minimum donation…
They kicked you out. Put you on ignore. Renamed the fleet. And they hid it from search. The likely kicked dozens of other people out in your same situation. Now, the leaders are waiting in hiding for it to blow over. In a few weeks, you’ll start seeing members of XXXXXXXX in space again. And as soon as they need something…
Here’s my post about it in September 2017 if you don’t believe me: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/discussion/1234232/xbox-do-some-fleets-recruit-players-to-get-their-donations-and-then-kick-them-out/p1
You’ve been had. That same fleet got me with the same trick. I met the contribution requirements and asked to be promoted to get access to the stores. A leader told me there would be a “promotion party” that Friday. He made a joke about bloodwine, even made it sound like a fun fleet event. Logged in Friday and instead...…
This discussion, how people arbitrarily embrace the shows they like, disregard the ones they don’t, and present completely subjective arguments as empirical fact and evidence that their personal tastes should dictate Trek canon, well, I imagine the same process created every major religion on this planet.
I got a bunch from my gamma recruit too. I’ve been checking the armada holdings everyday for a place to dump them but fleet leaders usually fill those slots first thing. I’m probably just going to end up discarding then
Playing NEW episodes the first time is my favorite thing in the game. Replays .... not so much. I’d much rather PVP, hunt accolades, or do the summer/winter events then go through the stories again and again. But I’ve done them all a dozen times so I might not be a good test subject.
