Same thing is happening to me. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling to no avail. Tried using a Arc install, no luck. Tried using a Steam install, no luck. Tried changing proxy, neither EU or US worked. Most Elachi missions I join NO ONE save me is disabling the gate. Very irritating. I don't know if there has been a influx of new ppl that don't about the mish or what but very few ppl disable the gate. It's very frustrating. Plz ppl disable the gate. Plz teach others to disable the gate. /rant

Making it a official event just sucks all the fun out of it for me. Using my shuttle when I'm not supposed to is far more fun.

Why do so many ppl want their factions ships to be similar to the other factions ships? I prefer each factions ship abilities to be asymmetrical. Makes things interesting & in my eyes more realistic. If the new ships do not allow for the IRW prefix then I most likely won't be buying one. I had planned on buying one once the Romulan faction allowed for the Suliban race to be played as a player character but now, like I said previously, I most likely won't. :(

It wasn't difficult for my Sci or my Eng but it was boring as hell. Do not start this mission if you're tired as you will fall asleep playing it.

*shrug* I'm no STO expert but I do just fine in both ground & space with all my characters. As anazonda mentioned earlier it's all about knowing how to create a proper build.
