Help Plz, Can't Log In

I patched Holo, then Tribble; went back to Holo and its says, 'patching' nothing is happeining and the 'cancel' putton is lit. Has been that way for hours now. Thought it was a server issue so I exited waited a couple of hours and still have the same thing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you have your launcher proxy setting possibly set to EU or US?

    I had my launcher set for EU for a while for I had barely a normal connection. Eventually it seemed I was even worse off with the EU proxy.

    Haven't changed any STO settings since I played yesterday or was it the day before. Don't even know how to change the proxy settings from US to EU. You guessed right, though, I'm in the US. If I can't even get in the game how would I check this anyway?

    Appreciate the suggestion. :)

    Game is virtually unplayable this evening east coast U.S. Lag very bad. I finally gave up and am finding something else to do.

    I found where you can change proxy to EU, US, or None. Tried all and still have the same fail. :(

    BTW I can't even cancel, the 'Cancel' button doesn't work, although I can access news, options, etc. Weird.

    I'm in! [and there was much rejoicing!] I don't know what happened but it finally worked.

    Same thing is happening to me. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling to no avail. Tried using a Arc install, no luck. Tried using a Steam install, no luck. Tried changing proxy, neither EU or US worked. The launcher just sitting there stuck, saying it's patching but it isn't patching. CANCEL button does not work, have to 'X' it closed.

    -EDIT-

    Just as the OP experienced not be able to log in & then all of sudden being able to again, I too can now log in again.
