Elachi Alert Event Overview (VIDEO)

Hey guys for all of you who are first timers and anyone that is interested here is a event overview of this year's Elachi Alert Event.

Also why is this event only lvl 60? And why does it award only Normal R&D? :confused:

    err I just did it on a guy level 59?

    I actually dont like that alert but did it a few times because it was there and people were q'ing it.

    Level 50+ and yes, Normal R&D.

    I really loved the Mirror Event. I don't know why.. I just did.. I found it really fun.

    This one isn't bad.. but I'm not as into it as I was the Mirror Event. I ran it a couple times and probably won't do it again.

    I wish the rewards were a little more, Marks are easy to get as it is. Even if it gave you 1 item per day that you could cash into the rep system for some Dilithium, that would be enough to get me into it every day.

    The Mirror Event had stuff to do in it. This one is literally just pew pew until everyone dies. There isn't any objective besides pull aggro - which happens automatically when you pew pew - away from the science ships. With Mirror, you had to power up the station, close rifts, etc.

    First time in, having never done it before myself, my PUG team got the full bonus.

    Not a fan of this, especially with the basic R&D rewards. Though I do like that you can get any choice of marks.

    Its divided 50-59 then 60

    Colony Invasion is divided like this now too
    I was thinking it was a bug with Colony, but I guess its 'Working as intended' :rolleyes:

    Most Elachi missions I join NO ONE save me is disabling the gate. Very irritating. I don't know if there has been a influx of new ppl that don't about the mish or what but very few ppl disable the gate. It's very frustrating. Plz ppl disable the gate. Plz teach others to disable the gate.

    I tried it with some lvl 60 charcters so assumed its only lvl 60 as it says so in the the queue window.
    You can see it in the video around 0.58 mark. Well its probably a bug, better off.
