Some of the phaser (other damage also) lances, such as the phantom escort has, can crit pretty high but things have to be just perfect. 120k for me so far
I've always said there should be a slot for the damage type, maybe a crystal, or generator unit that can be slotted in. Ship comes with the default one and others are available though special missions and can be used on all the ship specific weapons like the lance.
I always look at the lockbox ships as being captured or abandoned on battle then repurposed by the federation for a variety of uses such as spying, learning new tech, mixing of tech etc.
The other issue is some players just don't play ground or vice verse prefer ground so instead of making 4 ground and 4 space slots, how about 6 universal and you can mix and match
I'm not opposed to change, but saying a 'fresh' lvl 50 should be the same as a veteran lvl 50 is crazy. There should be a difference and it should be earned and something to strive for. Rep is one of the things you can't buy your way through, it has to be earned.
Glad this is getting fixed, had it bug out on me twice yesterday. Also using Tractor mines kept the dread from escaping though a rift, when it finally did, it never came back.
I have to say as a new Gal-X owner, but a long time player, since 1st month, yes the lance needs to be buffed, it really does miss 80% to 90% of the time and when it does hit it's so weak. As I just posted in another thread my cruiser can out dps many escorts it just that their dps is focused and fast, but that's what they are meant to do while the cruiser is a heavy tanky ship that can whittle down that escort over time using debuffs, strips and immobilization, both work just fine for me.
I don't understand this 'escorts are OP thing' my cruiser can do just as much dps as my escort in something like ISE. Heck I regularly come in 1st place in fleet events over escorts. I just fly my escort more because it's more fun to me, but that's my playstyle.
Me also! Every ship is doing this, one or more of the slots has changed to None and then cannot be switched back to any BO. This makes the game unplayable, flying a ship with 2 out of 5 BO's is not acceptable. Changing instances has no effect for me.
3 of the slots are fine, but 2 other aren't. This has happened on tribble a lot but never transferred to Holodeck, guess this time it did. This is a MAJOR bug!
