  • I just ran "Trouble over Terrh" patrol and my support frigates were healing the Elachi HY torpedoes with transfer shield strength and hazard emitters.
  • I think we'll have to see what the DPS of the squadron fighters are. While I agree the ships will not be DPS powerhouses. I think we need to see how well the frigates and fighters work out. I've gotten 20k dps with 6 Elite Nausicaan Stinger fighters. Having 36 of them.... well... we shall see :smiley:

  • They need to change the wording, but after you click on the check box, you have to then click on the Join # Selected Queue button above. They make it look like clicking the box queues you but that just selects the queues you want to join.

  • yep it works. I use it all the time on Holodeck. It was great in the Breach Event in the small power core room when someone popped the ??? cores. There are some debuffs that have no cleanse like the stingers in the Japori system so Boost Moral won't work there, but it clears almost all other debuffs.

  • The bug ship was the first ship with 5 tac consoles. The Andorian Kumari was the first 5:2 weapon setup and the Scimitar was the first 5:3.
  • So now that some abilities debuff shield resistance to "all damage" does that mean torpedoes will hit harder on a sufficiently debuffed shield? Is it possible to debuff out the innate kinetic resistance shields have?
  • To my understanding, anything that affects subsystems (drains, subsystem disable) is DrainX, and anything that affects powers/movement, is CtrlX. For example, VM is DrainX because it shuts down a subsystem whereas Photonic Shockwave is CtrlX because it disables Boff powers for a few seconds.
  • From my testing on tribble, hanger pets still hit the target just as often with TW. Overall hangar pets are getting some nice buffs so I don't think there's much to worry about :smile:
  • It's single bays with only 7 weapons and commander tac, so not all single bays will be getting the heavy weapons.
  • It has the power speed penalty but that's negated by the A2B doffs.

  • I like the buffs to engineers. An engineer can get 200 system power using EPS + Reroute Power From Life Support 3 or 205 using EPS + OSS3. Miracle Worker heals me for 100k and I can get weapon power drain down to -1 power. I think I'll be playing my engineer toons a lot more now :smile:
  • You just used Arc to type that you never use Arc... Arc isn't just the launcher, it's the entire website and forums.
  • I'm actually thinking that, since they changed subnucleonic beam to a BO power, an engineer might be the best drain boat captain in PvP. I'll need to play around with it but, with EPS Power Transfer getting 150 (155?) aux power, Energy Siphon should last a long time.

  • yeah, I think you just need to play around with this stuff a bit more. I know I need to. What's funny is, since it's per weapon, the ship that gets the best out of target subsystems will probably be the science scimitar since it has 5 science consoles and 8 weapons lol.
  • @lucho80 the previous subsystem targeting was a 1 hit drain. The new one stacks per weapon hitting like how leech works. It also has a 15 second global, meaning you can keep an almost 100% uptime with two copies of target subsystem. It's way better now.
  • I got that too. I think someone who had previously lost connection spawned in my game at the door and tripped the popup because when we got there there was a 6th player not on my team warping out.
  • Engine power really boosts the speed from evasive maneuvers. I either switch my power to engines or I pop an engine battery just before I hit evasive maneuvers. Also, using hyper engines over combat engines gives a boost to speed too.
  • This^^ One can record the game with demorecord and then after replace any ship with a different skin. It's only cosmetic and it's not how the player looked while he was recording. The Borg Diamond skin was added after the recording was made.
