You can do a barrel roll with the "Rock n' Roll" specialization ability, and you will be immune to the CE's blast. Just wait until the absorption bar is full and hit the ability. If STO staff were a lot more direct with their estimated server down times, there would be a lot less bellyaching. Ironically these guys are also the ones who will do nothing when a Nanite sphere is approaching a transformer, or when a probe is about to sail through a gate. Only DPS matters to them. The rest of the stuff is for the "scrubs" to handle.
