  • I found a kit in one of the lock-boxes for engineering ground (turrets and drones).
  • HOAH! People certainly are crazy during event openings...
  • This is definitely amusing. Besides Elite Beat Agents, this is a surprise to have. I suppose I'll have to crank out some fabulous music now. Not to kill the mood or anything but its a bit much to call victory over a small icon, no? Maybe I'm just not aboard the crazy train that has been the party amplifier debate lately,…
  • OAH! Wirblewind. The first and fastest enemy super ship in the Naval Ops game. It was the hardest, and most epic fight I've ever had against an NPC with amazing music attached. I consider it more challenging and epic then a person ever could be, next to Sky Captain of "Future Cop LAPD".…
  • I'm really hating to say this at the moment, but I'm afraid this thread isn't doing much good right now. :( All I can really say, is that Cryptic had time to put it in, they have time to fix it, and that it's better just to see what happens in the future and look into other threads. See-yas!
  • Calm down everyone! Insulting each gets us absolutely nowhere. Provide -solutions- if Cryptic can't. Here are things I very much understand. Everyone is hard-wired to think differently, and be annoyed at things based simply on particular sounds and visuals alone. You CANNOT simply blink away at a party ball because no VFX…
  • Bugs happen. Period. Sometimes they have time to solve big bugs, other times they have time for quick fixes. It's flexibility and free time. Sometimes I like to spend five minutes fixing or playing something then doing nothing until the next big project rolls around. Do you know how crazy it sounds to sit and…
  • A switch server side is entirely possible. This was introduced in CoX (City of Heroes and Villains) as a NPC that you would talk to for options, since graphical options and preferences are saved Client Side and not Server Side. I believe it is the game prefs file located in your STO directory. And a server side switch may…
  • Well... even the seemingly silliest of ideas can sometimes hide very constructive tools. That is likely how Party amplifiers were started in the first place. :D
  • It's a puzzle. :/ I personally like how CoX did it. Was an NPC you talked to, and you chose what affected you for buffs. So IE: in this example, you could be affected by sexy dance moves and not snowballs. Maybe something like that perhaps?
  • We do have the temporary options of using the consoles to avoid party amplifiers al-together, or using "/movementreset" for singular incidents. Your proposal wasn't something that I preferred, though I'm interested what others think. Many different minds prefer many different things after all. :D
  • Blah. Well, could of just said so for us. Gave my hopes up. :/ Though it would be true given there are remaining fractions that don't even glance at the forums. :(
  • Ummm... I'm flaming? And I said I could be civil in game. Also, they are -my- words in -my- biography, so please don't be discouraged in trying to contact me. Having an open mind is very important you know! :D And I wasn't asking for a petition. It's more like feedback. :3 Feedback is important too! Now... Should we, or…
  • I just said skitters likes to hitch a ride? http://postimg.org/image/5wlez2s1x/ Hes a my pet elachi spider! :D He doesn't explode--silly billy! I named him skitters--cause it's cute--but that is getting off-topic. However, un-deleting the threads may be a stretch. Getting a simple like/dislike thread going could…
  • And anyone can ask me about it in game, or make a private message. Throwing this thread off topic is not needed. OH! And don't mind Skitters. He hitches a ride now and then by accident. :D For the rest! Time will be needed to gather these links, OR perhaps just make a couple threads for signatures for those that "Do Not…
  • Woh woh woh--un-needed. Wow. You have an issue--PLEASE contact me in game or a gm! This isn't the place!
  • Maybe it's just a fact on my personal experience by talking to other people? Who knows? Maybe it's all those logs on pastebin? Maybe. Your assumption is a lot less likely factual just based on appearances alone. Can you scratch it as a high plausibility instead of a fact? Of Course! Now, if you don't mind, please remain…
  • There is a fact that a few problems exist with the party amplifier, such as over-riding actions and emotes (Despite the description saying otherwise). It is a fact that the party ball "forces" action on another (Would you like it if I smoked in your face and forced you to smell it? Some like it, some don't.) and no matter…
  • This party amplifier also causes issue while in shooter mode (especially aiming) where the character will dance infront of the reticule, blocking the view. And yes, that is a description that needs to be fixed by editing the text or the power.
  • Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done with the eventual bandwagon of Min/max Dps rolling by. The only thing we sensible people can do is to continue to handle it properly and ask ourselves "Do I really ever want to talk to that idiot again?" :D
  • I revisit this thread and I see how people are acting... Who ordered the fire at will? Seriously guys, this was a simple enticement to PvE players, not a parade. Stop acting so childish and throwing this thread off topic.
  • I managed to get one to talk after a long interrogation. He simply said, "I DO NOT MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"
  • People should stop getting so hurt over an image and just enjoy the view. Also awesome job mightybobcnc. You have my hat. I agree with everything on there.
  • I agree with the five minute statement--possibly more, and with the rest of the message. You need to study the population--or simply swag it. Think about if it's a slow or active day. On a slow day--maybe once every 30 minutes, enough to cycle through everyone that is actively paying attention. On a speedy day? 10 minutes…
  • If you don't give pvp communities a chance, it never will happen. It's like the lottery... You can't win if you don't play. Even if the chances here are realistically similar.
  • I'm posting on behalf of the "629th ODF" (Oribital Drop Fleet). We are an all-around roleplaying fleet of roughly 7+ tight-nit players that have recently started out on STO after a long departure. Our fleet is all about having a more relaxed approach to the Star Trek Online lore and gameplay, and about having fun. There…
  • I was fighting a borg tac cube (How most stories start. Stupid cheating Borg ), and I was just enjoying my Hirogen Apex Battlecruiser. I felt god-like. Everything was melting before my eyes, I was shrugging off fire from enemies left and right. After blowing up the gate in "The Conduit Elite" que, we were ready…
  • Switching Zones to a less populated area is the easiest temporary solution for now. If they'll fix this or let it pass and fix it the next time around is something we'll have to wait for. I do agree however, the shuffling is a bit long. Sometimes I'll just read an article and then watch the last little bit of the mixing…
  • I think everyone needs to relax. If anything, this was a tease show for pvp games. And lets face it, even by these comments we can tell that most are not interested in the pvp of STO. It is very much possible that a viewer may be interested because maybe they perhaps actually don't understand the key points? Interested or…
  • I was smelling someone getting hurt by a roleplayer--but anyway. It's a network issue, and they're working on it. There isn't really anything to go beyond that besides making ridiculous guesses and assumptions.
