  • Not to mention turning your pc off doesnt stop cyber bullies from harassing your friends, family or employer.
  • Is this a player that's harassing you ingame? File a support ticket and ask for them to escalate this to a senior support staff. Is this an individual that follows you around online (facebook, other games, etc?)? File a complaint with your Internet Service Provider, and other platforms they harass you in. Then also contact…
  • I just REALLY dislike how they intentionally made crafting a tedious cluster**** to force us to chose between spending dilithium or wait out short timers. 5-15 minute wait timers have no use other than to introduce tediousness. Why cant it craft instantly? What would it break/unbalance? Or why cant we queue up 100x same…
  • Too bad the rewards for completing them are so **** it's not worth the time and effort to do it. -the playerbase

  • Turrets are ****.
  • Companies sell user data all the time.
  • It's simple. The gameplay post 60 is so shallow and lackluster they have to force leveling to take as long as possible to keep people playing. By the time people reach lvl 60 they'll be in the mindset of "but I've put in so much time into levelling, I can't possible stop playing now. That's psychological torture.
  • 1) What is your overall impression of STO right now? I'd score it 6/10. -Graphics: 8.5/10. (for an mmo) -Sound: 7/10. Real quality just isn't there. -Gameplay Ground: 4/10. Ground combat is clunky at best. Movement feels very rigid and not fluent at all. Ground combat mechanics are very very uncontrollable, everything…
  • That would seem so but I'm sure there's a lot of additional rules. Online gaming and micro transactions are relatively new ground when it comes to the law.
  • It's because they do the bare minimum of effort to get their paychecks every month. There is no logical reason what so ever other than that it's a conscious business decision not to put resources into structured game design.
  • Actually the main reason lobi even exists is because they needed something guaranteed in the lockboxes. Otherwise both in the USA and EU they would have to deal with gambling laws. The game would be rated 18+ and face some strict gambling regulations (at least in the eu). Having a guaranteed item in the lockboxes allows…
  • I too come back after a few months leave. For a while now It's 3-5 months of not playing, come back, do all the new content (including new rep/season stuff) in less than a month, then quit for another 3-5 months. That's terrible game design. I only ever return because I love trek and I hope whenever I return there's been a…
  • Sure, 800 lobi. Enjoy paying trough the nose for them! -PWE Marketing
  • MORE MONTHS before the gameplay is fun again? Nice way to sink your business. Seriously. This should be top priority. This should have the focus of your entire coding and networking teams. This is such a massive issue any company with even a shrivel of consumer respect and decency would hire temporary personnel just to fix…
  • The warehouse on ESD. It holds all the fleet stores, doff stuff, ship stuff, etc. So I don't have to transwarp to various places (hello cooldown) to look if I need something or want something. Centralise all the stuff you're giving us cryptic! One ui window with everything the fleet has to offer. Don't hide it on npc's…
  • I have auto fire and I bound my fire spacebar key to one of my mouse buttons, that way I can be extra lazy and don't need to life my hand! Can play stfs while eating with ease!
  • Meh those "free" ships are a liability. I don't want them on my bloody team in an STF.
  • Do a good write-up and mail to game news and tech sites. They love anything they can cover that involves security issues and consumer privacy threats these days. wired: submit@wired.com arstechnica: http://arstechnica.com/contact-us/ Gawker: tips@gawker.com Kotaku: tips@kotaku.com io9: tips@io9.com And various more.
  • Good job rewarding them for not fixing the lag!
  • Time isnt free. Grinding a month for zen/dil isn't FREE. Get that in your skull. If they introduced godmode that costs 100.000 zen you people would still call it free. It isn't.
  • The problem is, if you want any of those OP traits, you need to shell out 30$ for a ship. Let us buy the op traits for 5$ and be done with it. FFS.
  • I really hope something positive can come out of it. Currently the game is more frustrating than fun when it comes to rewarding playtime. Also thank you for keeping us rowdy rude bunch of people informed!
  • How else is geko going to afford his new porsche sports car?
  • It's ok guys, according to Geko's twitter we're getting new ships to buy very very soon! (possible this week)!
  • Just buy 200$ worth of R&D packs and upgrade man! If you don't pay, they don't want you to play! Also buy 100$ worth of xp boosts while you're at it to level quicker! Xp is designed to be so low you must buy these.
  • Ti fix; buy the pilot ships coming soon! -cryptic
  • People aren't annoyed that the xp got fixed (not nerfed) for a few missions. But that, regardless if the devs say they will, xp will NOT be reviewed or looked at in favour of releasing new content. What we want is a global xp overhaul (as in, increase). But thats not going to happen because that takes away time from…
  • Well, in their defense, they have to sell those luxurious xp boosts somehow right?
  • I would pay ANYTHING to build my own ship. I would love to be able to build a guardian T6 fleet cruiser with 8 weapon slots, 4 Eng slots 3 science slots 4 tactical slots 1.2 shield mod but 20% reduced hull hp custom and more tactical orriented boff slots I would litterally pay: 1m+ dilithum 1-5 ship modules (those zen…
  • Doubt it, running 100mbps/down 6mbps/up, That said, the amount of information the client/server need to handle is probably high (hence why they said it's "resource expensive". Think of it as having a large water pipe, but a small filter.
