The D'ridthau one essentially phases your ship reducing the damage your taking to essentially nothing while increasing your turn rate by 10. Its more then just handy:) I'm actually using a Big D with DHCs and Turrets.... My bridge officers are set up for cannons, my gear is set up for DHCs and Turrets all I'm missing is a…
Pretty much I'm suprised Klingon Captains aren't demanding Romulan BoFFs with Subterfuge and Covert for thier Bird of Preys and how unfair it is that Romulans have better cloaking crew and Duty Officers:)
Now Please explain how a Ship that larger then the Big D loses 1/3 (Is still bigger then the Big D has a turn rate of 10 and its smaller 1/3 has a turn rate of 13? Haakona has a 5.5 and splits into a 10 turn ship and a 13 turn ship. Essentially nullifying the its Larger so its got to have a massive turn rate. (Which is…
Fact its not effective. Its TRIBBLE. Fact its the only Romulan ship at Tier 4. Fact People have been playing Escorts up until it. Fact It never should have been given the same turn rate as a Carrier. Can people play it? Yes Does that mean we should? No Is there anything that makes up for its weaknesses? Not really, because…
Honestly the biggest problem is the D'Deridex is the iconic Romulan ship. Its shown to be tougher, slower and much more agile then the Galaxy and probably better armed to boot. (The Galaxy is not a warship) Honestly most people should wait for the Scimitar with its fighter bays, firing everything while cloaked and utterly…
Well lets look at the actual facts about the ship vrs the Galaxy. 1. Its twice as big so it should have twice the hull right? 2. Its slower not less maneuverable. Meaning its top speed is lower then the Galaxy. So there is no reason for it to be at a 5.5 That being said part of the problem is its the only Tier 4 ship for…
The Romulans also have Mind Controlled drone ship technology, Holographic projectors that penetrate shields and other fun toys. Lets not forget the Scimitar can fire everything while cloaked.... I wouldn't mind some other cloaked mine types for fun and profit..
Cruisers are turn rate 6 or 7 This is 5 Carriers have a turn rate of 5... The Galaxy is a 6. The Dreadnought Galaxy is a 6. This is a 5..... It splits into ships that have a 10 and a 13 turn rate... Should a ship that is 1/3 smaller have a 10 turn rate if its a 5?
We also don't seem to get all of the Uniform pieces... I couldn't get the Tal Shiar belt or shoulders for my Male Romulan. Nor did I have the nice Romulan Survivor wrist bands..
I'm pretty sure your right, but I really would much rather they drop the Ambassador class ship from the Tholian mission and give us the Elachi ship when we capture it instead as a Tier 4 ship. 1. It gives us an Escort at Tier 4 2. We don't have a Ambassador Class ship that makes no real sense as a Romulan to have.
A more intelligent fix would be to reduce the cooldown and make each power use X charge from the Core. The level 1 power recharges at say every 30 seconds and drops the charge level by 1. The level 2 power recharges every 45 seconds and drops the charge by 2 levels. The level 3 power recharges every 60 Seconds and drops…
In Turnabout I couldn't complete the Prize which sucked since I really wanted my own Elachi Escort to fly... Also my Captain can't seem to get the rebreather to work in Devil's Choice...
There is a moment in the Game where there is the perfect chance for the players to go work for the Tal Shiar... Not all Tal Shiar are pyschopathic nutjobs who sold out thier species to the Iconians and stuck an impure halfbreed on the throne as Empress... I was playing through rescuing the Enterprise C from the Tholians…
No its not described as an even bigger space whale then the Galaxy. Its twice as big and is SLOWER.... Not less maneuverable its SLOWER!!!! There is no reason for its crappy turn rate.... Of course there is no real reason for any ship in the game to have crappy turn rates since all ships have something which negates…
