When I'm crafting for a specific set of mods - I've gotten used to just posting my rejects for a pittance of their vendor value to help others and speedily clear my inventory. The loss in ec is laughably small. If someone wants to buy them to vendor, that's fine. I know from watching the sale mails that sometimes one…
If I feel the game is getting stagnant I roll /work on an alt, trying a different approach to build on. I helps for me, maybe it can for you too. I have most of my fun in game from flying with my friends, and the banter we have is equally as fun as flying our ships. For me it's not just about story arcs and missions.
I'm seeing a substantial increase in AFKers in RAs. I do 3 of the 4 of the groups and then I alone or with just one other take out boss. Anyone else seeing this?
I leveled a Reman named 'Slamek' to 60 and have a Reman 'Slamek' BO on all my other Rom/Rem chars ships. Why? I dunno, just to be stupid I guess.... :)
Easiest solution to this whole 'prettier' issue is to unlock a uniform set that has a closed helmet, now if we only had a paper sack item to drop on ugly BOs heads in the tailor shop...
well, your work would more useful if given to Cryptic in the bugs section of the forums or as a bug report. It will be lost here. To see other reported bugs (and there are MANY) go to the support section's bugs tab. edit, Note the lowest 'sticky' thread in this forum about bug reports. This part of the forums is all for…
Um, nope. This yokel disagrees with that that bit of flim-flam. A police dept is singular, see it's used as an adjective and the 'dept' is singular. Police is a plural when used as a noun. See even my 2nd grade edumacation knows that that's that. edit: hey all, I'm just poking fun. See this whole thread is such a mountain…
I'm all for removing all time gates on everything! If ya have the resources -it should go boom-boom-boom. If you want to do consecutive CCAs for a week it should be possible. Now as to how many hours = a day in game I'm all for 14.5+ X [where X is a RNG number of minutes from 30 to 1,080]. That'll keep everyone guessing!…
To stop all the bickering perhaps it would be best to allow each user to be able to customize it on their UI - full/small/off. Easy solution for everyone.
I hate to say this - but now that you've brought DSE's to Al (Captain Geko) Rivera's attention; he'll probably convert then to a queue like the just did with the Red Alerts. I really wish Cryptic would transfer him to a Cryptic game worthy of his "talent" - like say, Champions Online. ;)[/quote] Gads I sure hope nothing…
oops - I should have been clearer - I think they (DSEs) may be level restricted to a low or medium level. When the game launched there were DSEs all over the maps - but they were for narrow level ranges then, you had to hunt for ones in your level range. It wasn't so hard though as the sectors were somewhat designed then…
I think some of them are level restricted but still appear to all players on the sector map. I could be (and often am) wrong. Hopefully someone has the full info on that and can post here.
I just did a Tholian RA. 2:03 am PST - I queue for RA, zero instances were ongoing, wait time listed is 4:38 2:07 - second player joins queue 2:08 - third player joins 2:09 - fourth player joins 2:10 - fith and final player joins, countdown to join starts 2:10:30 - all players join instance according to queue roster 2;11 -…

I play most from midnight to about 6 AM PST - the red alerts take about six minutes to pop but they go so fast. It's not huge I must admit, but it's annoying to me. I want to play, not wait. I do play STFs a ton - but usually with premades so waiting isn't an issue with that. Having more battle-zones might and for all…
Non-peak hours these slow queues are a real turn off. I always wanted to play a game to practice my waiting skills, not. This really is vastly worse than they were, and they were fine before. Staring at the queue list is not my idea of fun. Rename the game Star Trek Queues Online. If these are going to stay this way…
