Perhaps Cryptic will block off access to all patrol maps so we cannot leave the homeworlds.

Their endgame is simple. Keep players mindlessly logging in and impulse buying as often as possible. Preferably avoiding spikes of activity, instead favouring consistent daily account activity. This is achieved through intentionally creating resource sinks and convoluted grind systems.

You know Sekrit (tis Merkage here) I am really thinking about a cull. Endless grinding has led me to change from the mindset of 'I'll just deal with it' to 'This is not worth my time'. All non-essential alts will likely be relegated to doffing duty.

Well, I have to congratulate you Cryptic on another slapdash patch. This time you have outdone yourselves. Countless mistakes. I am sure the day is coming when the straw breaks the camel's back for me.

Cryptic sometimes pick terrible names. The new difficulty should be Nightmare. Gives people a sense of dread and relief when winning. The word Elite has lost all meaning in STO. The gold gear should be either Legendary or Mythic a la Halo. Epic/Unique is lame.

This problem has been around for a while but as of late the inconvenience has worsened due to the fix implemented by Cryptic. Apparently now it is in a permanent state of not finishing, and as an additional perk, it can now hold up every other assignment when in tandem with R+D.
