Scheduled Maintenance (August 7, 2014) [ Complete! ]

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, August 7th, at 7AM PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly scheduled maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2.5 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

    Hey some cool things here, like:
    Players can now queue up to 5 of any given component project simultaneously in a single crafting slot.

    Can we get something like this for items, like queue up 5 runs of phaser pulsewaves? Because right now, there is not too much use for making 5 runs of components when any one item takes a good portion of time and never takes 5 components. Don't get me wrong, its nice, but if you could queue up final items as well it would be great.

    Also:
    Resolved an issue where some Duty Officer assignments would get into a negative time state and wouldn’t complete.

    Thank you. hopefully this will clear out all the doff missions I have that are stuck.

    And:
    Heavy Bio-Molecular Phaser and Disruptor Turrets from the Counter-Command set can both be equipped at the same time once again.

    Glad to see some of these fixes. Specially to allow multiple items to be crafted. This will help instead of one at a time.

    Still no fix for the Federation sierra skirt? It has graphic issues.

    Actually all the Sierra and Antares skirts are messed up in the front middle.

    How about the fix for bridge officers un-equipping randomly after map changes ?

    It would be nice when manually selecting a Doff to have the filter option only checked for requirements which meet the assignment rather than selecting every single category and having to manually uncheck every single category one by pain staking one every single time.

    I certainly hope this:

    "The Conductive RCS Accelerator now has a chance to gain either Science Console attributes OR Engineering Console attributes when upgraded to Ultra Rare."

    ...doesn't mean that Conductive RCS Accelerators can now gain the "+X% Shield Capacity" science modifier...

    That had better not be what it means.

    They tried a fix for that once, and almost fixed it. Then I think they broke it again. I'm sure thats all we'll get. If this game is around for 2 more years, I'm quite positive that you'll still be complaining about it.

    Nope . . . nothing about the colonial doffing either. Chances of seeing the doffing mission has been greatly reduced.

    I would really love to see you guys change the doff filters to default all off instead of all on. It takes less time to manually find your doffs than to filter them because you have to turn off nearly as many filters as you have doffs to find that perfectly matching biochemist or whatever field they are.

    :confused: They work that way in the roster list so there must be some kind of code in place to do it.

    The Conductive RCS Accelerator now has a chance to gain either Science Console attributes OR Engineering Console attributes when upgraded to Ultra Rare.
    This will only affect new consoles that are upgraded.
    All existing consoles of this type will remain as they currently are.

    Known Issues:
    Traits cannot be selected on a players bridge

    Traits also cannot be selected in Fleet Starbase System Space (at least on kdf side). Havent checked other areas like Fleet Starbase Ground, Fleet Embassy, Fleet Spire System, Fleet Spire Ground, Dilithium Mine System, Dilithium Mine Ground. :cool:

    I would like to filter my duff assignments by cumpletion rest time, so I won't have to brows through all 23 assignments to see which one cumpletes as next. Thanks a lot for cunsidering. :)

    Also, thankies for baulk-cumponent crafting, this is a good addition to get recipes dun more quickly. :) And hey, will we see the Kazon in the Kazon Cluster soon? :)

    When will they fix the grafix, i have a gtx 580 and when playing NWS i need to set the grafix to its lowest setting or frame-rate drops below 20 and become un-playable.
    Whole season 9 was a fubare !!

    Why are the broken projectile crafting still not in the known issues? It’s been reporting lots of times now. Its worried that is not only no fix but know acknowledgement of the problem.

    i`m downloading STO and the speed of download is somewhere between 10-100 kB/s .. is that problem cuz is in maintenance?

    Excellent choice on the crafting stacks. Thanks for that. I will definitely craft stuff now. Get to 15 before the end of September.

    Why reduce the damage output of beam overload????? so, the damage dealt was almost far worst than the original BO, and now the damage its even lower??? should we just discard BO skill for good now?? ow, cryptic will never stop to surprise me. I guess due to all the complains about always crit, they just nerfed it again, to the point if before it was bad, now it is useless. And the filter for doffs is not still fixed? o.O , Good job again cryptic.

    Actually Beam Overload is stilll more powerful than it used to be, the base damage reduction is more than compensated for by the 100% crit chance.

    Thx Trendy, was just lounging at Kerrat. If you get a chance, please make a note of the issue we discussed in game. I've encountered the following channel issues so far:

    - Channel won't unmute a member, even if accidentally muted.
    - Channel description sometimes shows incorrect active members (202 of 380 for example instead of 55 of 380).
