Actually across the whole internet. No matter where you are, you have as much free speech as the site owner allows you to have. Free speech on the internet is a misnomer.
You only get as much free speech as Cryptic/PWE allows you. After all, it is there forum with their own rules and policies. Sad but true unfortunately.
Dude, literally the post below this. Please use the search function for all our sakes.. Oh wait.. this counts as back seat moderating doesn't it. Humblest of apologies!
Umm, the patch note CONFIRM the reason for the Tau Dewa take down... They explicitly mention the removal of dil rewards for post 110 which would only be as a result of running Dewa patrols in it's previous state owing to a bg with the patrols Cryptic have fixed.. Or rather they deemed what a small number of players were…
Going that there appears to be a difference in how many, locations of players etc, this seems like a bug more than by design... Still not a good situation but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their knee jerk broke something causing unintended consequences
Struggling so hard not to insult you like you insulted the player base right there. It only became an exploit when Cryptic looked at their data and realized there was a very odd and probably quite large amount of Dilithium being generated by the system. This was being used by a certain area of the player base using a…
It was the fastest route essentially. More exp than the elite stf's in a shorter amount of time. (Mainly due to various coding errors etc on Cryptic's end.)
No, getting Dilithium by constantly running a 5 man elite Tau Dewa patrol was the 'exploit'. A good team could probably ding and get Dilithium every 2 runs with each run taking no more than 5-10 minutes... You begin to see Cryptic's problem. They introduced a reward but left in place a system easily used to farm Dilithium…
Going by the fact their gift was removed because of a system that was open to abuse (eg exploitable) i highly doubt they will replace it. It was a nice idea but they executed it so poorly that it was basically bound to go bye bye once a few players figured out they could farm silly amounts of dil!
You could contact a GM but the response will probably be that you are S.O.L. Also, i think naming and shaming threads are frowned upon here.. So in b4 lock?
This, so much this. Pugging and having a blast on a mass slaughter fest as a team had never been so fun. (well except stf's but, i have very little exp in that matter)
I have to agree. I get the feeling it's the crafting mat drop that they'll be nixing. I got two from four 5 man Japori Elite runs.. that's not going to make Cryptic happy bunnies because as you say, it messes with the dilithium gate..
Are you reading the pop ups on the patrols or are you clicking through them to get them done quickly? Sure some are just boring patrols but some fit in with the story quite nicely i feel.
I hear you on the elite thing, hell, i don't even want to touch advanced at the moment because I'm the guy on ISA who still miss-clicks on his keyboard activating scatter volley, which then breaks the 10% rule and blows the optional. i know that if i did this in advance then boom, all that time and effort is wasted because…
While I agree that despite the bugs and the tedium of grinding Jalpori for enough experience to continue the story that DR is a good expansion, LoR was superior despite it's initial teething issues and bugs.
Can't tell if serious or trolling... But yes 1am Pacific does not = 01:00 UTC, it is 13:00 We are more than aware we are ahead, cryptic seem to believe we are behind :P
