nake sure you have directx 9.0c installed, also make sure you are connected to the proper server in the game before you log on

I just noticed yesterday when i was playing with my nvidia control settings for elementclient.exe, i forced it through my SLI and got quite a few graphic bugs. you can try to make sure all those settings are the standard or nvidia recommended settings

that particular file on my system is located in C:\Windows\System32 where C is the drive with Windows on it, you can try extracting it to there, you probably should overwrite the old on if it asks

yes youd need to dl directx9.0c, also for them to let you download the descent client, they would basically have to rebuild the install file from scratch, its cheaper and simpler to use the update service

if this has happened since the descent expansion, then try redownloading directx 9.0c if its a result of the update on 2/22/12, youll have to ask someone else >.<
