Missing Avatars

when i updated to the new version descent my avatars no long show up on log in or in game and i can see others avatars...HELP!!!!! lol

    ok so i now see that others are having this issue.....and i have tried to redown load....its saying i am uptoday so i am running the verification on it ....how many hours will this take.....and i hope it fixes it lol

    i think that the problem here is directx not being up to date.

    i cant find the thread where i read this, but try redownloading DirectX 9.0c
    the link from the gm to the DL page is here
    I tried to add a signature here thats not even as big as some. but it kept resizing to make it illegible, so **** it

    I installed DirectX v10 and have the invisible toon issue again.. I go to the link to reinstall v9.0 but I get the following error during initialization of the install file:

    A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cyptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid.

    After clicking Ok, the installation cancels and that's the end of it.. How am I supposed to verify Cryptographic Services are enabled and/or verify the cabinet file certificate is valid???
