  • WTF??! guys u need to get this fixed its rly getting under my skin
  • im excited for 2x again hopefully hit 100 this month
  • O.oa 99% of Venos do not melee in fox form and therefore they don't want Melee Mastery. This isn't related to which server you're on. Venos are a primarily magic damage class that are very rarely in fox form and don't have a need for a skill that increases melee damage in fox form.
  • Also, remember that you can only 'auto-cast' offensive skills. Your pet won't automatically use defensive or support skills.
  • Two of my pets are maxed with the other two close behind. ^.^ And the reason I chose the Frogling over the Antelope is b/c even though it has slightly lower M Def, it has higher HP and P Def. It's not often that I use it against tough mobs that use Physical over Magical damage, but it's nice when I need to. =)
  • There's really no point in getting the Melee Mastery passive skill though... Wood Mastery is the only passive skill even worth getting and it should really be last on the list behind the other skill upgrades available.
  • I have a fly, golem, v. scorp, and frogling for my main pets. Each pet has its specific role and I use each of them often. In my opinion, those 4 are the only ones you need.
  • You can only reorder a skill by forgetting skills and then relearning them. It's really not worth it.
  • Yeah, when I leveled pets at lvl 45-50 I just camped outside the Secret Passage entrance SW of the Orchid Temple and killed Ossein Guards. You can pretty easily 1-2 shot them with Venomous/Ironwood Scarabs and they drop Complete Sacks, Silk Thread, and Big Bucks which you can sell for 2-4k each. Generally in an hour or so…
  • And you see, that's what's wrong with the majority of people. They can't think for themselves because they've been handed everything in life. If you can't type a name into a site and hit enter or browse another thread clearly marked "F.A.Q." then you don't deserve whatever you're trying to get someone to hand you.
  • Yes, you can have a baby pet at any level. No, they don't fight. As for getting the kitty to fight with it, I'd be willing to help ya out. Don't have the ToD for it at the moment though, so if ya get the ToD we could camp together for it. I don't need/want a kitty for myself.
  • That skill tree has all of the skills actually, not just the purchasable ones. :P The Temple of the Dragon skills are listed as well. =)
  • If you don't know the names of the pets or can't search thru the names listed by level, then you don't need to know the coords. Seriously, you can't have EVERYTHING handed to you on a silver platter.
  • I'd just stick to the other standard pets for your main ones. And imo... I wouldn't pick a pet for its speed unless it's just used for luring. But... That's why you have a Kowlin at 60 and an Eldergoth Marksman before that if you need to lure a ton.
  • She said non-rare pets. That's why I left that off the list. :P And yes, of course the piggy is the best air tank with its significantly higher P Def than the flies and foxes (over 2000 more P Def and 1600 more M Def than the Petite Sawfly). Its atk sits at 7204 for 5 seconds compared to the 9891 of the Petite Sawfly. Its…
  • lol, yeah. A lot of their translations aren't perfect. For a minute there I thought you were recording damage on a particular mob and comparing attacks and the pets dmg per hit. lol
  • The Antelope Pup is going to have the highest M Def of a Land pet, however... I prefer the Frogling for my Magic tank. I don't really see the point in having a water pet until much later, but yeah the lvl 26 Undine would get my vote over the lvl 5 turtles. The only thing you can really add is a Land DD like the lvl 2…
  • Well... You don't really need a 'top 5'. Stats will clearly show which is the best in any area. This however doesn't mean which is best for coin purposes of adding skills. Land dps: 1) Pollen Scorpion / Scorpion Pup / Varicose Scorpion has the highest atk value of any pet. Its .6 atk/sec gives it 3 atks / 5 sec and at lvl…
  • You feed the pets with food found off mobs or purchased from the Pet Skill Trainer under her Trade List option. Generally you just use water to keep them full. She has Peanut Oil and Sesame Oil to raise loyalty quickly, but they're more costly than just using 5 or 10 waters.
  • I'm working on getting areas/coords for all of the pets into the wiki.. But with only a couple people in addition to myself working on the wiki, and both focusing on other areas... It's a bit of a slow process to say the least. =) No worries though. They'll get added in along with pics and more detailed information for the…
  • iPerfectWorld Wiki has a list of all the tamable mobs up to 60. I 'might' add in a type column to the list, but it's generally pretty easy to tell which flies, swims, or walks. Generally if it has Fly/Wasp/Wing/Hornet/Wind in its name, it flies. Best overall flying pet for damage is the Petite Sawfly, best overall flying…
  • Is it really that hard to understand? After all, the Zoologists sell the 200k Upgrade Scroll in the same place as they sell the skill scrolls. And I plan to incorporate that in the iPerfectWorld wiki as well when we get it setup. :P
  • You're wrong. :P The reason that only one mob is pulled with Veno luring is because you only attacked that one mob. The other mobs only see the pet. But the mob your pet attacked knows you sent your pet after it, so it comes after you.
  • Yep. Each skill has a minimum level requirement. I believe Flesh Ream is 1, 20, 40, 60, and 80. You can check out more info on each at iPerfectWorld Wiki Venomancer Pets.
  • As Just Cool said, those 3 sites are pretty decent for stats (especially since the first one is mine. ^.~). We're getting close and closer all the time with the iPerfectWorld wiki and inputting all the pet information there is. =) Be sure to check back frequently as the information there grows every day.
  • Yeah.... Need an upgrade scroll to increase a lvl 2 bash to a lvl 3 bash.
  • For the magic tank the Antelope Pup has the best magic defense, followed closely by the Frogling. They vary a bit in their stats. The Frogling has a higher HP than the Pup for one. The marksman is pretty worthless imo... And I'd agree that training a turtle is a waste. There aren't that many water quests before you can get…
  • O.oa *Insert joke about reproducing like rabbits here.* And yeah, the Snow Hare does spawn more frequently, but I believe there are different timers for the different spawn points varying between 1 and 2 hours. Don't quote me on that though as I haven't had a chance to camp the little guy yet. ^.^ Also... She wasn't asking…
  • Hehe, yeah... *^.^* I'm horrible with names. >.> Why would you want Protect on a Magmite? O.oa I'd only use Protect on a Frogling or Antelope Pup. I can see the benefit of Claw, but if I ever got that skill I'd throw it on my Scorp before I put it on my Magmite. I'd go Blessing, Strong, or possibly even Threaten if you're…
  • You can also check out some info on them at the iPerfectWorld Wiki as well. =)
