  • Yep, when they range from 150-750k and 200k to upgrade.
  • Do you have enough coin and spirit?
  • Nope. Scrolls are the only way to learn skills for your pet.
  • The Crystalline Magmites and Volcanic Magmites will both be better for stats than the Torgirn. And the Torgirn's skill levels don't justify the switch really. I'd suggest the Crystalline overall b/c they do have slightly better stats for tanking than the Torgirn. However... The Torgirn also better starting skills than the…
  • Quoting Laranda and putting my comments in red inside her quote. I hope this bit of information helps ya out in picking good physical/magical tanks and damage dealing pets.
  • Some things don't exactly add up... If mob A overpowers mob B at 10 it does NOT mean that it will at 50.... Growth rates vary per mob. Check out the wiki I'm working on atm to find out how: http://www.iperfectworld.com/wiki/index.php/Venomancer_Pets. It is DEFINITELY a work in progress as I have time to work on it. I'll…
  • lol... Yeah... Not all of us have millions to spend like Poison obviously does. It's really up to you which you get though. The difference in stats is about 10 on each stat at level 90. So... The difference in damage a tank will take is maybe 1 in 100... Or even 1 in 1000...
  • You can get some of the scrolls for 150k. And yes, some of them are up to 700k. I'd recommend anyone wanting their pet to tank get a scroll of Tough for 300k. You can upgrade the tiers of the abilities if the pet is at the required level for 200k each. Most of the 'good' scrolls are only available from the "Temple of the…
  • The best atk rate you'll get is .8 atk/s. Best atk you'll get is the Varicose Scorpion / Pollen Scorpion / Scorpion Pups.
  • If you're ss'ing the stats of each per level, I'd love to see your results. :) I'm compiling all per level stats for every pet over at iperfectworld.com's wiki. =) Would save me a bit of legwork if ya already have the info. ^.^
  • As far as I know, only offensive abilities will be 'auto-casted'. You can also tap alt+2-5 to use the skill instead of double-clicking it. As for a beetle being stronger than the golem... I doubt that.
  • Talk to the Pet Skill Trainer and scroll down to Quest Related. Take the quest and kill wolves or scorps til you get a tablet. Then talk to her and choose Quest Related again to finish the quest. Talk to her again and choose "Tame Pet" to learn the heal/revive skills. You can also buy food for your pet under the "Trade "…
  • I say they were the best because as far as I know they have the best accuracy of any ranged pet (I could be wrong though). Also, to my knowledge they are the lowest ranged pet as well. And yes, a fast pet does just as well as a ranged pet provided it can survive long enough to hit the mob you're luring (which is why I…
  • Eldergoth Marksman is the best ranged pet. I don't use one, but they're pretty good for luring before 60 or after 60 if you don't have a Kowlin.
  • He's located at 211, 645. His stats aren't too bad, but not great to a point where I'd ditch one of my others (at least at starting lvl with 500+ loyalty). I tamed one the other day as I noticed him alone on the cliff. Main reason I don't like him is b/c he's the ugly armadillo type. >.>
  • Yep, any magic weapon. This means, wands, magic swords, patakas, and glaives are your choices for a Veno.
  • Definitely get a golem asap... I'm surprised ya don't have one at lvl 40. I'd also send the pet in with a secondary skill, then it'll use it's auto skill right after. Should hold hate fairly well as you nuke. Just don't overnuke and ya shouldn't pull hate. But even if you do... Having Summer's Sprint on is a good idea to…
  • As far as I know you're unable to get the phoenix in PWI as of yet. You can see the eggs for Phoenix and Hercule in the Zoologist shop though. They cost like 9999 Phoenix Feathers and 9999 Energy Cores or something.
  • And you add in the fact that if a Cleric doesn't kill the mob before it gets to them, they have a high chance of eating dirt. A Veno on the other hand has a personal tank that keeps them from taking any damage AND adds to their own damage total.
  • lolQuetesh... First, learn how to spell. Second, learn how to read. No one said the cleric has more damage. The only thing that WAS said was that a cleric can expend more mana for a possibility at more damage which mainly depends on your weapon damage.
  • Alrighty then... Guess I should say 'most' don't do it to PVP. :P Now let's look at the little comments you put on my quote that show you can't either read or understand. 1. Veno is the best solo class in the game. True 2. Veno is the only class that can pull one mob from a group of mobs. (Luring) True 3. Veno is the only…
  • I agree that the Veno is one of if not the most powerful class in the game. And who cares about the Zhen parties? Of course they had to offset the Veno's amazing power somewhere. We get penalized 60+ because we level MUCH faster than any other job out there unless they're burning thru charms like crazy. And of course…
  • Of course people have tried this... It's not a matter of whether they have. This is a matter of why do you need an explanation to a guide? lol The guide is pretty self-explanatory for how to do each build with stat points, armor, etc. But if you want to do something REALLY crazy... You could try thinking for yourself. I…
  • She's located in the SE corner of Archosaur. You can also talk to Mr. Zoologist in the port of Archosaur. Skills cost 200k to upgrade in level and 150k+ to buy new.
  • Eager to contibute to the site once we get the layout for it finalized. =)
  • That's not exactly correct... 3* DO yield Mirage.. But the yiyuan / liangyi / santsai / ssuhsiang stones are not based on stars. The higher tier of armor you decompose, the higher tier of stone you receive. I don't remember exactly what the cutoffs are though.
  • Venos are quite nice for making money due to their low upkeep and zero downtime which allows them to kill faster overall than most jobs at low to mid levels. Skills like Metabolic Boost, Nature's Grace, and Soul Transfusion definitely help when it comes to plowing thru mobs with zero downtime.
  • The makeover scrolls are 80-90k coins if you get it from a player who will buy it from the boutique. You can also get one from a quest ~ lvl 30 or so. The 'buckteeth' thing is due to your video card. On my laptop all players have those two little white dots on their lips. On my desktop however the lips look like they were…
  • We have a couple clerics that are at decent/high levels, but I don't know of barbs above 40 off-hand. O.oa... Really though, you should play what you enjoy. =) There's always a need for both jobs.
  • What server ya plan on playing on nevermoria?
