"The importance of player feedback cannot be understated." *ahem* You might wanna change that to overstated. The importance of player feedback cannot be OVERSTATED. *giggles* Good job on a Russian shard though. True, I will never see it, but that's a pretty big thing.
Thank you for your answers so far. :) Yes, I was thinking that a PvP'er's opinions may be as varied as those of everyone else, but then again, PvP'ers have a certain thing in common: they largely prefer PvP over PvE. There are a number of reasons, and I'm just wondering what they are, and which of those may be feasible for…
They fixed it? They.... they really listened? zomgosh, if this is the case, I officially love our devs just for listening! If there are a bunch of horrid new foundry quests, that's bad on the authors' part and boo on them.... but our devs listened? <3 Devs and the liasons <3
Hahaha, I couldn't help but laugh when I envisioned this! +10! Can you imagine? >Team 1 enters the battlefield. Unbeknownst to the others, one of them is infected. >An epic battle ensues. >Suddenly, their infected teammate changes and begins attacking players on both sides indiscriminately. >The infected: " ****, sorry…
Thank you for your reply! Do you think it might help for campaign storylines to go along with the lore in whatever district they're located in? That might make it a bit more cohesive and meaningful perhaps. K, I might need to re-think a quest I'm working on... Also, is there anything specific that should be seen…
Another +1 for this thread. I generally do greet a party at the beginning. The response I've gotten has been mixed (either some "hi's" or silence). People seemed much more sociable in closed beta weekends. Since the actual gameplay hasn't changed that much, I'm thinking the more open f2p aspect is indeed drawing in a more…
I totally agree. I'm someone who gets caught up in the "OH SHINY!" in the Cloak Tower, and I really would like to take it at a more leisurely pace in that portion of it. It does get frustrating to plow through the thing at breakneck speed.... Edit to add: bf agrees
dboss, yeah, we seem to not take melee as well (unless it's a high defense cleric). What you wanna watch out for is our chains if you jump right on us... b/c then you're pretty easy to target. CW's were the bane of my existence, lol
See, that does seem reasonable. And actually, NW can be sorta similar too. At the campfire, you can switch skills and even switch gear that is more intensely pvp oriented. It's a good way to maintain versatility. We need to keep in mind the f2p players. A character needs to be "allowed" (i can't even believe that term was…
I don't disagree that there will be an effect. I disagree that playing one should effectively negate the reasonable option of playing the other. The player will need to make certain adjustments to their build AND their playstyle as they transition from one to the other. There should be none of this "if a player isn't…
Ok, I'm just highlighting this logic here. I don't even have to say anything. You go right on ahead. I'm going to continue ranking high in most (not all) of my pvp matches and keeping my squads alive and thriving, even despite HAMSTER aggro.
Not sure where you get the idea that pve is being ignored. Go to a pve thread. I had to kinda redo my cleric, because I had it statted and geared for almost strictly healing. I had to change this. I'm now doing much better with heals and survivability in pve (contradictory as that may sound....) and also now much better in…
