The problem is less about being "the best", and more about not getting to actually experience the endgame content because of a class being too weak to be included in an optimal group. I didn't like the other available classes or how they played, so I wasn't interested in rolling another character until an additional class…
Yeah, I haven't followed the forums for a couple months either, so I haven't seen devs coming out and saying that there won't be a new class within the timeframe that it takes for the game to become irrelevant. I played from 3 days before the open beta started up until Gauntlgrym, so I know firsthand how much of an effect…
Because if they made it that easy, they couldn't deny allegations of the game being P2W. At least with how the system currently is, you have to go through a couple steps to buy high-level gear. Which is going to be different once they start making dungeon gear BoP, anyway.
Get out of my thread so that you can go dryclean your cloak of invisibility. We were talking about a video game, not your glorious quest to lose your V-card before you turn 35.
No, I hang out in an MMO to progress in content. I don't stand in the middle of Protector's Enclave for 3 hours typing "/say The orb of Grok'nar is so powerful! Let me tell you why!" Roleplayers in MMO's represent an entirely new low on the internet. I'm honestly surprised that you didn't know.
Just did GG... wow, now this patch is even more of a disappointment. T2 PVP gear drops with terrible set bonuses? Yeah, never doing that again. Now I guess I can wait two months for a new zone to have any kind of content to play other than CN ring farming for AD.
So wait... the "surprises" were just us getting slightly more information about future content updates? Remind me what this has to do with the patch? When I'm told that I will be receiving "surprises" on my birthday, I generally don't interpret that to mean that someone is going to hand me a flier for a birthday present…
Ah, I remember being able to actually do CN back when clerics generated threat. Now a GF is necessary and better for basically everything, and my spot has vanished.
With the changes to DC aggro, I am finding that GWF's have a new strength- AoE kiting. They're more mobile and have better AoE threat output than GF's while stacking no +threat abilities from the Sentinel tree. Now that you can't just stand on walls and get 100% of the threat as a DC, I'm betting GWF's will see a lot of…
And what makes it worse is that the quest in question has over 1000 plays, so the author thinks he has the right to flame anyone who doesn't like it. I would post a screenshot but it violates forum rules. Already removed my screenshot from another thread in here.
Very dark rooms and inadequate quest markers make this difficult to get through unless you're in a dark room. I get the feeling that fans of published Forgotten Realms fiction might enjoy this more than the average gamer. Fundamentally a "go here and kill 15 of this kind of monster" quest, with no real options or story…
