This is an unenchanted version (more detail visible). Looks to me like an ornate glaive (but with a much shorter handle - more like an axe than a polearm imo). Personally I think it looks pretty cool. [IMG][/img]
Thanks elahra and Tang for confirming (wish there was a preview function for gear in stores/AH). The reason thought it might look odd with cleave is that a spear doesn't normally have a bladed edge for 'cleaving', though it looks like this one might (hard to tell from the screenshot). Strange about the bronzewood effects -…
So many interesting new shield designs with the Feywild expansion. Really liked the Redcap Shield, but the flat 'back' makes it look like it's hovering when on your back (it's less noticeable on other shields because most have a concave back). However, what I'd really like to know is what that weapon is. I'm guessing it…
Well not too unique (noticed someone else just posted one here), but my probably my favorite shield skin so far (and seems to be appropriate for my tiefling GF). Holy smoke - your GF is on fire! Pretty cool - that's the first time I've seen Armour of Insanity actually look good (at least I think it's Armour of Insanity).
Looks like a reversed Khopesh, but not very nicely designed. Personally prefer the more unusual/exotic-looking gear, but think I'll give this one a miss. Would really like to know what the Redcap Greatsword looks like. Thought you couldn't dye weapons?
Ok, I guess no-one knows the answer to this. Trying to decide whether it's worth equipping one of these on my GWF - not sure if it's worth it if the defence debuff doesn't stack with SotS.
Have mixed feelings about the update, so can't really answer yes or no. The GWF deflection nerfs and Unstoppable nerfs/bugs hurt (survivability is pretty important for a frontline fighter). Not so bothered about the Slam nerf (never liked the idea of depending on one daily for dps). Have never had a Nightmare mount (and…
Agree with holsac. Gave up trying to get into groups with my GWF long before the recent nerfs, but still enjoy playing it a lot more than my GF, which has never had any problem getting groups (both level 60 btw).
Maybe they should introduce a new passive for the GWF: 'Nerf Rage' - as the GWF takes more and more damage (due to nerfs), At-Will damage goes up in proportion to damage taken.
Seen a few posts about GWF damage being nerfed, but the only damage nerf I can see is the one to Slam. Are there any others? The nerfs to deflection and Unstoppable obviously reduce the GWF's survivability, which indirectly affects damage output (more kiting = less fighting). But, apart from Slam, are there any direct…
Thanks for the info - didn't know that Nightmare Lock Boxes were the only source of Tenebrous enchants. Wondering what the options are for those who can't afford Tenebrous enchants. I think ayroux's guide ( How-to-build-a-Decent-60-GF-on-a-budget!-For-those-who-just-hit-60 ) suggested Lesser Plague Fire - or if those…
Searched for Tenebrous enchants on the Auction House. No Greater ones, one regular for 4,000,000 AD and a few Lesser starting at 300,000 AD (each). Are these prices normal?
Have found that without your guard up, temporary hitpoints barely last long enough to get in 1 or 2 swings. So it seems that Wrathful Warrior is most useful when you have your shield up. However I assume that you then lose the bonus from Cruel Cut Style since that seems to apply specifically to Cleave and not to your…
Thanks for the info. Ended up getting both the Warhammer and the Scimitar - might experiment with both. After playing around with the blue versions of this gear (not quite 60 yet), decided that it was the Wolf helm that made the Armour of Insanity (or Madness) look particularly goofy - have found a helm that imo looks…
[IMG][/img] Really like this the model of this helm, but unfortunately it's only a level 49 green (Helm of Opportunity). Does anyone know if there is a level 60 helm (preferably a purple) that has the same model?
Any views on the Braced Troll Warhammer vs the Brutal Lizard Sword? Noticed that the Warhammer has much higher armour penetration (but lower power). Btw just got Armour of Insanity and am trying to find a way to make it not look ridiculous.
Had Enforced Threat permanently on my bar till about level 50, but found I was using it less and less so am now trying other skills in that slot. The problem I have with it is the painfully slow animation time - in fast chaotic fights this can mean that the mobs you wanted to hit with it have moved somewhere else by the…
