Equally geared you should be able to face tank a gwf forever. Probably not if you are using **** skills like chains and sunburst. So maybe you should start with that. Literally every other encounter is better than those two, especially if you are a mouth breather and can't dodge gwf attacks with their super long animations.
The amount of people in this game who have game breaking gear and enchants is very minuscule. Judging by the sheer number of HAMSTER who play this game its safe to assume that most people who complain about gear are the same ones who don't know how to roll/dodge/blink and are still playing with…
He has a point. Its people like you that are the problem. Instead of figuring out what the issue is you want to point a finger at the entire player base. Cause it couldn't possibly be YOUR fault could it?? Guess what, I play a cleric, I have none of the problems you do. I haven't been 1, 2 , or even 3-shotted since the day…
I see this a lot. I used to agree with it. The problem is health. Going from your standard 12 con to 20 con stops rogues from ever being able to kill you like that. Same with gwfs and CWS. The only reason gfs can still do it is cause they keep you locked down for so long.
Most of the guides have been updated post patch and the ones that haven't didn't need it because not much changed feat wise. You can't really go wrong with destik or unspecified builds. And read the synergistic feat thread to see what feats and powers work with each other. You can't really have a perfect pvp build and a…
If you're dying in 3 hits its a gear issue not a class issue. Everyone suffers from that. The only ones that don't are the ones built for pvp. Which means high con, favorable gear sets, and high level enchants. So you're either terribly out geared, or you are a terrible player, pick one.. Having said that, clerics are…
Anyone who thought large scale pvp in this game was a good idea is a HAMSTER. And if you aren't HAMSTER, then you should have expected **** like this to happen. And if you expected this **** to happen, why are you being a whiny ***** about it. Spawn camping is a…
The only class that should really give CWS a lot of trouble is gwf. But even then they would have to be outgeared to really make it hard. Rogues: blinking twice cuts cos DMG by over half. Then it becomes a skill game of how good you are at dodging lashing and/or shocking if they didn't use lurkers like most stealth builds…
The added effect is it activates immediately. The normal mode has a 1-2 second activation time meaning someone could run through it if you don't place it perfectly, or avoid it altogether. Either way I think there are much better encounters to use instead of chains. I only used it to level and farm foundrys until I got…
If you cast chains in divine more it doesn't stick on the ground because it activates immediately. You said no one was around and therefore no one triggered it so it goes away. Its more like a targeted stun in divine more. Normal mode it sticks on the ground for like 7 seconds unless someone triggered it or the timer runs…
Honestly the problem isn't so much cc as it is the prone mechanic. Stuns and daze and knock backs etc aren't anywhere near as punishing as prone attacks. Unfortunately prone attacks are also the most effective way of killing off geared gwfs right now so I'm conflicted on whether or not it should be changed.
The issue is either a) you are trying to que at 7am when people have work and school or b) you aren't on dragon. There, I have pin pointed your problem. Fix accordingly.
The only class that really gives me a 'no hope' problem is super geared GF's. Every other class you can at the very least last long enough for someone to help and the better you get at dodging the less of a threat they become. GF's just hit so hard with lots of gear.
Point capture - 300 Kill on contested point - 100 Kill anywhere else - 50 Assist - 25 Edit: Apparently I've never lost or won so bad I didn't get glory for it, that's pretty ****ed up.
First strike is not really good for long duration fights. Generally speaking the cone attack from the adds has a long animation and stuns if it hits so that is probably what's getting you killed. Because of the long animation of the stun you should be able to kite the adds fairly easy waiting for stealth meter to rebuild…
Rogues range attack has 12 charges that build DMG for every consecutive hit. If you blink once or even twice during the attacks you will take a fraction of the DMG you would normally. If they have a stealth build they lose one DMG encounter slot and cant use their daily for DMG either. If they have immunity to cc they lose…
Well according to the 'loose' definition of P2W that most whiners have, when money is exchanged for time and effort is considered P2W, every online game in the world is P2W. I can't think of a single game you could not throw money at and not gain some kind of edge or shorten the amount of time needed to get to a certain…
I keep seeing these kinds of threads pop up and I am just baffled. I have yet to see a 60 foundry I have problems completing. Are you trying to At-Will everything to death or something?? Clerics have some of the best aoe in the game. I can clear 2 groups in one aoe chain. The only thing I can think of that gives you…
CW got nerfs across the board. Alot of their dmg increasing feats got nerfed, along with Ray of Enfeeblement which is what caused dmg spikes in pvp. Doesn't say exactly how much of a reduction it was but their list is almost entirely nerfs except maybe one aoe radius increase.
Actually CW burst is handled through debuffs. Which were nerfed in the patch notes as well. Ice Knife can one shot but it's dmg potential is a lot lower than Shocking Execution. Plus the dmg reduction on Shocking Execution is base dmg, not total. It's a nerf but not a big one.
You actually don't have to accept the pvp que from the npc. The quest completes when you talk to him. You can also drop the que from the que menu, just like any que. I don't understand the point of this post. All the beginner quests like that are more akin to tutorials. It just let's you know where the pvp area is, and…
Clerics have a passive 40% heal debuff on themselves at all times and you want to increase that because you can't do enough DMG? Maybe if you were complaining that clerics make their teams too hard to kill I would understand. But the fact that you say a cleric is healing himself more than you can DMG proves the problem is…
If you click on a dungeon from the que menu it tells you what set pieces and gear drops in it. So you could technically only que for dungeons that drop set pieces.
While not a fix, but a workaround is to use the gateway to buy on the AH. It allows you to sort and search much cleaner and easier than the one in game.
