If I remember correctly, they said that having a rainbow sword totally looked weird in the game setting and they didn't like it. Meanwhile, there are still people who make disgusting dye combos on armor that makes them look like walking technicolor puke.
If you're Whisperknife Executioner, then the Draconic set is very good for you. One of the final class feats you can grab is called Advantageous Position. It gives you combat advantage for 6 seconds after leaving stealth(base +15% damage). With the Draconic set, you gain an extra 10% bonus damage on top of that(plus…
That's not how it works. You're granted combat advantage if an ally is near the opposite side of the enemy you're both attacking or through certain abilities and/or feats. If you put Steal Time in your spell mastery slot, it'll grant Combat Advantage for the duration(not suggested, since the run speed boost sometimes…
Any effect that brings across the idea of making a blade infinitely and indefinitely sharp can work. The current Greater and Perfect Vorpals give off more of a white glitchy lightsaber look with lots of sparkles. Earlier ranks aren't that bad. Maybe keep the sparkles, but change from the lightsaber to a white sheen that…
I hope not either, but those zen promotions are just plain insulting anymore. Unless you're not handling those, in which case you should really ready your pimp hand for the person who is.
The only thing I'd consider truely unexpected would be for them to fire/slap their product manager for making them miss out on so much potential income from the smaller zen buyers and go for an entire price overhaul to cater less to the whales. Then again, it's not just unexpected but unrealistic.
Could be worse... You could be farming for that perfect stat Ethreal Vortex Shield and cross your fingers for a lvl 16 Defiance Aura and +260% Defense Exile roll. But yeah. It's pretty bad.
Pretty sure you don't have to farm AD too hard. Usually by the time you hit level 60, you should have at least 20k AD. That's enough to buy at least 2 pieces of epic equipment(most often boots and gloves). With about a week of doing Rhix/Neverember dailies, there shouldn't be any issue with getting fully geared up in…
I hate Neverwinter Zen promos and everything they stand for. $5 - A title, a little bit of bonus exp, and 4 rank 4 enchantments $30 - A green companion that a lot of people already have and isn't even very good $60 - A rare lockbox companion that isn't even listed as BTA, BTC, or BOE/whether can be claimed multiple times…
Haven't seen new DC's damage, but CW and Fury SW are top damage. TR has some of the highest burst, but CW and Fury SW have superior sustained damage. Pretty sure that with P Vorpal and maxing CHA, you gamble for the highest damage out of any other class on Fury SW, though. You're just squishy as balls to compensate.
AR OF JU LE NO WE TH PL BON CU IM BU GO LK ENC UN BY TH GOL EX ON BO FI AS PA WOLF LI TI AT IN AS OF WOL WH AS SO BO WE BL AS BO ILL BON OF DY LI IT SO LO FA HA Pretty sure I marked all of the odd pieces where 2-4 letter were capitalized in odd places. I can't help but think this may be some sort of bizarre code... Maybe…
Your Draconic rings/neck are not better than 2 personalized rings and an artifact cloak. Besides the much higher total stats, the special effect of the artifact cloaks(+1-4% AP per 4 seconds of combat or +2-8 Armor Class) can easily outweigh any other necklace. That's not even counting that you may have invested in the…
I'm not sure I'd suggest going over 30% crit chance if you don't have a normal, greater, or perfect Vorpal. You can do the same with any level of Vorpal along with a +15% crit severity feat.
It wouldn't make stealth worthless. It would still let you force out 1v1 situations, where the TR is meant to excel. As long as you aren't using Blitz or Blades, you shouldn't have to worry. This I agree with. While I understand that double TR comps can be strong, one TR giving away the other one is a little too much.…
Get Draconic. It's basically +10% damage while in stealth or +10% damage to every ally nearby who gets combat advantage. You can then slot dragon glyphs for PVP play(since they're expensive) or corrupt/purified black ice enchantments for PVE play(super cheap). It's like having three set effects.
Grim Pleasure is an absolutely useless feat. Even when stacking power to 10,000, you'll only get 500 power out of it. That's 3% damage. Take pretty much any other feat besides Twisted Grin.
-Patch notes. I'm not even sure they added the change as text in the game, which would be quite the **** up. -You can still use at-wills, then follow up with an encounter. You just can't use nearly as many of them. -For PVE, bonus stealth means almost nothing anymore. For PVP, it can let you draw out fights longer. It also…
You lose 15% of your stealth meter for every at-will use, along with the normal depletion. Basically you can get around 4-6 at-wills off before your stealth runs out. Adding extra stealth only increases the length of time you can stay in stealth using your daily, using bladestorm, or doing nothing.
Whichever path you choose, you'll always want the capstone. They all have great value for a single point. Shadow of Demise is now properly working, with the latest patch, and can stack up some crazy damage. The 20% stealth recharge is VERY noticeable and the removal of regeneration interruption allows you to get your…
Well you can buy a full respec and get rid of a few of your Int. You'll need to pay $15 for a character reroll if you wanna get rid of all of that Int, though.
So we've pretty much identified that Return to Shadows, when combined with Shadowy Opportunity and fast hits, is an issue that would need to be dealt with for PVP. We've also covered the fact that RoT is pretty underpowered in PVE. So how could we fix this? Example RoT: Every X seconds, dealing encounter power damage to an…
