I'm thinking they realize only a complete wipe will save this mess. 1-60 power lvl exploit, to 1 shotting bosses exploits and now this, the game needs a fresh start.
I have many hidden rooms in my map, you either need to be a specific class or have completed certain dialogue checks for the room to become available. Before that you wouldn't even know the hidden room existed. That is unless you pressed M and looked at the map.
You're going to have to keep most everything off the Story tree. Make the only objective something like "Get out alive" and then whatever happens inbetween is anything goes. NPC A and NPC B are in a room and you can choose to kill either? No problem, just make sure that the door behind them unlocks no matter what you…
I liked the map and I think the guy is wrong about everything he wrote. I will now review his review accordingly. You're just adding another layer of the same system. Let's head over to reddit and see how the upvote/downvote system actually works compared to how it is supposed to work.
See? You're actively participating in what I am getting at. With your system all I have to do is declare that I didn't like your review and now your weight has shifted. You can't say that review processes are flawed so the solution is to have a review process for reviewers.
Yes, they would if you implement a system where every review has to be reviewed. I hand out 1 stars for those who didn't even try and all that will happen is every single person who hands out 1 star will get a negative weighted score bringing us full circle.
The vast majority of foundry quests are heavy heavy combat. I've never actually found one with real puzzle elements yet. Now to compound the problem is when you do group foundries, only one person can be in on the dialogue selection. For instance, I've watched a couple videos of people in a party playing my map and at one…
I played with peoples expectations. The obvious is the supposed theme. Watching you look around the spider webs and eggs and the little bet you made that the corpse would come alive was a treat for me. IMO It's too easy and boring to just make things pop up and start a battle, I thought it was more fun to watch you expect…
That was cool. You found zero secrets but the story still worked. So glad to see. But this had me in tears http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z1pvGoIHtc&feature=youtu.be#t=27m10s
If you're doing actual reviews, I'd like to hear your thoughts on mine in my sig. You should also do Planescape by @drakedge2. Edit: You should add the shortcode to the youtube videos. The search function can be useless sometimes without it.
I think the thing will always be that you can't force people to enjoy foundry quests. So the problem is also that there is an incentive for people who don't like UGC to run through Foundry maps. You could make a terrific story driven campaign with excellent combat but if the player is just doing his daily to get back to…
Your map has spelling errors, I can attest to that lol Edit: http://i.imgur.com/sFr9cwg.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dmAvXrT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wrDrLeF.jpg What language is your spell checker set to? Oh wait I forgot, your map is just too perfect for anyone to legitimately give it a bad review. Everyone is out to get you.
Nintendo is one of very few companies that demands compensation for monetized videos. I'm willing to bet that Cryptic encourages promotion of their F2P game. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.
