I generally hate reading quests, So it is nice to have the NPC read the quest out loud while running to the kill area. I just wish it didn't cut off after u get a certain distance away. Would be nice to have that option.
Control Wizard was a bit too strong in dungeon play anyways. You could literally CC all the trash indefinitely. In BW3 the 52 and 40s dungeon was a cake walk. Combine this with the powerful HP potions. My team of randoms steamrolled through each dungeon content. I just hope the Alpha testers are giving them proper…
I had the same sentiment until I got to higher levels and starting gaining access to the feats and higher level skills. Control Wizard brings unmatched control to a dungeon fight. He allows the rest of your party to steam roll the rest of the content. I would suggest you hold judgement until you get to higher levels.
Every point of Intelligence after 10 points Grants you 1% Recharge speed for all classes. Every 10 levels you get to put 1 point in. So that is 6% recharge speed total at level 60. I have already recorded the base cooldowns for skills on the wiki. You dont need just 100 points into recovery. You need 100% recharge speed.…
Power scales badly too. Critical is defiantly the way to go. Although its a RNG stat so keep that in mind. I actually had a different looking shirt drop for me in Frozen Heart Dungeon. Approx 5 hrs before the servers were to go down. This was the first shirt I had found that was different then the ones I was getting.
Some clarification for this thread. Lets not confuse Recovery with Regeneration. Recovery grants Recharge speed and action point gain. Regeneration is a passive HP regen based on how much health you have lost. Here is how Recharge Speed works: 20% Recharge Speed is 1/1.2 ≈ 0.83333 ≈ 17.7% cooldown reduction As mentioned…
Critical is defiantly the most important stat damage wise. Recovery is good but I think people overestimate its effect. Recovery isnt cooldown reduction it is recharge speed. So 20% recharge speed is only 17.7% cooldown reduction. You need 100% recharge speed to reach 50% cooldown reduction. Armor Penetrations is not bad…
Just so you guys know. Recharge speed works differently then Cooldown Reduction. 20% Recharge Speed is 1/1.2 ≈ 0.83333 ≈ 17.7% cooldown reduction You would need 100% recharge speed to get 50% cooldown reduction. I will be making a write up on which stats I feel are the most effective soon.
There is Control Resist. that you get with wisdom. Armor Penetration - Increases the percentage of damage resistance that is ignored when attacking an enemy.
Yeah, I just wish I had the bag space. I recommend everyone to buy bags if you can. I run out of bag space every instance almost. Ill do some more testing in a bit.
Getting gear is alot harder then you guys think. There is barely anyone on the servers atm. The 40 and 50 zones was empty during the entire Press Beta. There is no easy way to get the stats you want until there is a bunch of players playing and you can buy it from the auction house. Other wise it is RNG. Some of the npcs…
348 lifesteal = 3% 102-182 recovery = 1% Recovery 117 Critical = 1% Crit 20 heroic 21 Paragon on my Tiefling @ lvl 50. If you want to discuss this more you can pm me. As its a bit too early/late for my mathematical function in my brain. Plus quicker response. Edt: After looking into it further. It seems each percentage…
Level 50 2049 power = +83 547 critical strike = 4% Crit 271 Regeneration = 2% (This stat is actually not bad for leveling) 579 defense = 13% damage reduction 174 life steal = 1% 349 movement = 3% movement speed Ill try to get the 1% equals x later on today. Hard to find items with small increments. So gonna be tough. Also…
I got some values for you from watching streams.. 1237 power = +51 Damage and Healing Bonus (Looks like power sucks) 278 Critical Strike = 2% Crit Chance (Seems really good) 417 Recovery = 3% Recharge Speed & 3% Action Points Gain (Pretty Good as well) 231 Defense = 7% Damage Resistance (Who needs defense!) from a control…
If PWE/Cryptic were smart they wont add anything useful for gold. As it stands right now. Gold is only used for potions and kits. As long as there is not a market for gold sellers. They wont be a problem. The other side of this is. It makes it harder for free to play players to acquire gear. TLDR: As long as Gold is…
