I have an orthopedic back support, a large back cushion and a ton of pillows for head and neck support.
Not to pry, but do you have back problems or just like being super comfy when you game?

If they are starting Closed Beta on Dec 8th they certainly haven't let me know about it.
I'm not sure what exactly has been referred to in the recent posts but I would suspect it's nothing good. It seems to me like there may be some sort of phishing scheme that we'll have to look into.
I'd be a damn happy camper if Closed Beta started three days from now but they always implied they would give some notice to us on the home page...which isn't there at least at the time of this post. Let's hope for the best but expect the worst.
As for the previous question, I normally wouldn't post something like this but he has alluded to it many times in previous posts so I don't think he would mind. Zeb suffers from spinal issues which cause headaches as well as physical pain. The fluff sadly isn't just because he likes to be comfortable...but it sure does look comfy!
Anything more than that I'll let him answer on his own...now excuse me I need to find some armor so he doesn't beat me up with a cane or staff!

Trust me NOBODY is playing BETA. It's still in internal testing.
Can you explain that last part?
No. The only people who know details have signed Non Disclosure Agreements and cannot share their information here with me or you.
And anybody who somehow mentions said information is only violating proprietary information and would be excluded from future beta testing anyway. But by all means, do PM us any "friend's" info and we'll make sure they aren't doing that.
As for how you can see if an entered Beta Key was successfully received, from my FAQ:
Update: 8/23/2012: Enter the Alphanumeric Beta Key code exactly as you received it (with dashes, but it is not listed as case sensitive at the time of this update) on the "Access Beta" section from their "The Game" drop down menu at the top of this site or may also be accessed as a button on their Main Section. The following is from the Beta Key's own entry location:
If you have received a beta key, use the field below to activate your closed beta account. Once you have entered the information, your beta account will be activated immediately. Enter the beta key exactly as you received it, including dashes. Keys are not case sensitive.
Above the Redeem Key box to enter the beta key code, it tells you if or not the beta key is applied. When it is applied successfully, you will receive the message, "Congratulations, you have activated your beta key for Neverwinter!!"

One Thing about that Truth, I applied a key before the PW changeover, I still get a not applied, but when I contact PW they insist that it is. I don't know if this is a bug or miscommunication.

Please file a Support Ticket, link is uptop the site. When filling out the Contact Us form, choose "Neverwinter" as the Product and click Ok. Then for the Category, you'll want to choose two options there, first select "Billing Support" then choose "Activation Code" and then click Ok. Be sure to be as specific as possible. You shouldn't need to give them your CBT code but they may ask for it in further correspondence.

Ummm as I said...I did that Zeb, they claim by beta key is registered the website still says not applied.

And the thing is if you don't link your account, it won't show your key.

If you can't link the Cryptic account, do as this suggests. If you get the dreaded redirect loop error email that above information here: customerservice@perfectworld.com
Just stumbled over here from one of PWE other games, and I am so excited for this game now. I'm really looking forward to *hopefully* playing in the beta.

I will say that I'm a bit disappointed that I haven't yet received my key (Champion's lifetime sub). I'd have thought that customers in that group would have been among the first to receive closed keys.
I understand CB hasn't started yet of course, just referring to the key's themselves.

If it makes you feel better, nobody else got keys yet either.

Lol it does. I guess we have some folks here that are less than honest with their claims of receiving keys from trade shows and entering them with success
Thanks.

I actually do have a question. Do we (lifetime subbers for example) need to sign up for beta or is that process automatic? I noticed the "access beta" button has changed to "sign up for beta" now.

I can safely say that the keys received from the Torchlight II promotion were received and could be entered successfully. Whether the first people are already testing or not... no idea.

I'm not testing anything dude.
I doubt anyone is actually playing (besides family&friends).

As a Lifetime Member of STO or CO, you're all set! When the time comes, you'll get your key.
You really need to be communicating all this through your Support Ticket. If they respond with something unsatisfactory, re-open it with more information and corrections. It doesn't sound like you're doing this, because I doubt that they would not pursue it further if you were to respond with some of the responses you have posted here on the forums. The forums are not the place for billing and account tech support, so just keep replying to your tickets until you get it resolved.

My bad, I meant those lifetimers.
Since a convention many months ago where some (not all) people got them, and the last Torchlight offer for pre-order, nobody has been given keys who are signed up with things like lifetime STO or CO or other offers then. All people who are promised keys are still waiting. Even if people got beta keys way back a while ago (like E3 for example,) they don't do anything after entered. Well, normally, if it's not a bad thing. But I'll get to that in another reply.
Lifetime members who signed up then don't have to do anything else but wait for beta now.

And I said the same thing in my previous post if you linked the account and it didn't work. if you don't share this in the ticket, they won't know what you have and haven't done and will wait to see when you linked the account. They also will need to have your old and new account information in said ticket as well as specific steps on how you liked the accounts (most people think they did but did not for example,) and if you remember what messages you got. Finally, include any beta key codes also in said ticket so if it is "used" they can research which "account" has it and find if it is to you account (likely) how to flag it to your current state.
But all this can't work unless you make said ticket and update it with the information.
Trust me, I should know having one of those earlier keys and getting locked out of the forums for months and only an opened ticket eventually showed the CM what needed to fix this. I also suffer from the redirect loop and things like directly emailing weren't always clear then and I had to find out these things after much delay, and woe be it if they didn't respond, as you are then in the dark.
CS didn't know I was still locked out sure it was fixed multiple times, but that opened ticket is one of the reasons not only am I back, but how I ended up here with this title of Moderator today thanks to me rooting out a out of tech permission glitches.

Guys...there is some mis-communication here and it isn't on my end...I'll explain once more.
I made the ticket I was very very thorough in explaining the situation and telling PWE that I did link my account...I did this months ago, I was assured by PWE that my beta ticket was indeed active, despite it saying and still saying that it's not applied. Further I get this isn't the place to discuss this, I just made an aside remark that a key may be applied even though it says it isn't.

Sorry didn't see the word ticket, which threw my understanding of "contacted."
Oh the anxiety in here is at a fevers pitch, I could cut it with a beta key... [woops, tiptoeing behind rock since noone heard me........scamper.......]

Wait? What linking?
I've entered the key sometime ago and can see the big Download button, can press it and get redirected to another page with other two buttons greyed out.
But! The game does not appear under "Status - Accepted" on the redeem key page. Should I be worried?
I feel you K44mos i have the same prob. I believe you are going to be ok when beta starts.:)

You'll be fine k44mos. If you have "Download Now" instead of "Acess Beta" then your account definitely has a CBT Key Linked to it.
Personally I have never seen the "Status - Aceepted" screen. I think that's more to do with linking your PWE and Cryptic Accounts than anything else but I'm not sure. One of the other mods can correct me if I am wrong.
