Well, I did manage (barely) by maneuver and chest beams to succeed with 2 whole seconds to spare... but using a lvl 23 AT automaton was a pain in the tush. One that I plan to never, ever do again.

The other thing that sometimes happens is that your character may be underlevelled for a particular area (like Monster Island) so the minions simply won't drop a clue. In order to be certain of getting a clue (if this is the issue) I believe you need to be a minimum of 30th level.

It ain't as good with NDC, but it can be done; butter is mainly used to bind the sugar to the mug- I'll experiment with other things, but an adequate substitute should be possible. Could also be a handy way to add that 'switching characters without logging out' feature that people have been asking for- walk up to the appropriate alt, click on the blue bar, and "hey, presto!"- you're the character you were speaking to. I've gotten gear. It's been universally green and level 30 and completely useless. And I thoroughly agree with the idea of skull-levelling minions and bosses in alerts. Much smarter than the current system.
