So if you chose a grab alert at the end you can select between XP, resources or mods as your reward. Same with smashes and bursts. The type of alert is the same but the rewards comes to your choosing.
And after that always put a grab, smash and burst available and only shift the supervillain type every now and then.

Cryptic could really take a page from Blizzard's book here - in their (inexplicably-filtered-on-the-forums) flagship title, quests completed at level-cap auto-convert XP to a suitably-equivalent amount of money.
For example, if a quest would normally give, say, 170,000 XP and 15G, at level-cap it would give 27G instead.
