I've noticed that there is ice, earth, fire, wind, force, and electric powers but not water powers like shooting a stream of water or making constructs of waves would be neat and id love to see a water archetype to play as.
tell me what you guys think.(about water type powers only)

Water powers have, in fact, been suggested before; still, I don't have a problem with it. How about including acid as a part of the set?
Acid Rain (similar to conflagration, instead of clinging flames, applies a debuff to DEF)
Firehose (A continuous line AOE with repel; optional advantage "Melt Face" debuffs END and PRE)
Just a couple random, off the top of my head ideas.
come to think of it, Acid rain does sound neat i also dunno if drowning an enemy would work as well haha so yea i can see many benefits of this archetype. now if it had a roll like tank or damage I wonder what it would be.
I'd like to see a Radiation Powerset. It's a common theme in the Desert with all the irradiates running around, so why not?
But, before we add Water, Radiation and other wonderful powersets. Clean up duty on existing powersets like Telepathy, Force, Sorcery, Bestial, MA Claws, Celestial etc needs to be done.
NOTE: Not hating on this thread or anything, I back this motion entirely, I'm just stating a few things.
I'm all for it. Unfortunately, Water's kind of a hard set to make. Cryptic's said in the past that water visual effects are really hard to get down - though all it'd really require is polygons that morph a lot, moving shademaps, and perhaps some polygon joining models...? That last one's a bit of a pipe dream, but there's already sufficient particle effects for stuff like whitewater/water sprays.
What I'm personally more concerned with is what the set's unique mechanic will be - so, water's big thing is that it can totally be used like a riot cannon - you suppress people by not really killing them, but by pushing them back with superpressurised water, so in essence, knockback - except Force and Wind both already do that, so that's out the window. Then what does that leave Water with? Making people soggy? Well, from there, wet people can totally be frozen in a thin layer of ice or more conductive to electricity, but... wait, that sounds like wind except more crutched on other powersets, whoops.
The last idea I had about mechanics was that it could be used as like, super-battlefield-manipulation. You use abilities that cause like geysers that slowly push people around, and also make water bubbles to engulf and drown people inside. Slight problem with that is that this sounds like aspects that Wind and Force were supposed to do in the first place - Wind with its crapton of repels and Force with its (extraordinarily horrible) containment fields.
Well whatever I'm just waxing rhetoric about details that a guy with like no experience in game industry is agonizing about a power pool that doesn't even exist. I still would certainly love to see how creatively a Water set could be made!
