Sorry for the late response, I haven't been very active lately. My point is "Compassion now scales with Ego" would make it annoying to use on melee characters, unless another version was made that scaled on something else. Why should a healer who prefers melee attacks be required to dump a bunch of stuff into a stat that…
Yes please! I've never liked the idea of wasting a power slot on something I would only ever use at Kiga. As it is now, I've pretty much given up on pulling dogs just because there's always at least one dummy who just can't listen and spams CCs like crazy.
Oh man. As someone who mains a Roin'esh, I'm loving that ooze transformation! Makes shapeshifting a lot more fun. The new travel power is a lot of fun too. Oh, and there's cats. Today is a good day.
Congratulations Champions Online! It's hard to choose a favorite memory when there have been so many good ones. I've probably had more good memories here than I've had in any other MMO, and I hope to have even more in the future. Keep being awesome, CO!
What I'm trying to say is that you can easily be unkillable in over 90% of content even without regen. Years ago I even had a PFF tank alt who was unkillable in pve until end game content became a thing. Buffing regen isn't going to trivialize anything that you couldn't already trivialize with any other defensive passive.
I don't see why regen being powerful in the other content is such a problem. Even with defiance, content other than end game is faceroll easy to the point that I can just sit there and mash buttons and still win. Regen being decent in end game won't change that. Also, I'll admit I did kinda overreact with that first post.…
As someone who used to be a regen tank a long time ago, and was really hoping to be a regen tank again some day, I find this incredibly disappointing. It's not fair that an underpowered passive should be required to take a specific power that can only be unlocked from an event perk just to perform ok-ish at cosmics. Should…
Couldn't you have just buffed regen instead of tying it to an advantage in some random power that requires a perk to unlock? It's not like letting regen keep it's damage resist at all times would make it OP when it seriously underperforms compared to every other defensive passive besides PFF.
I'm having a little problem with the parser. For some reason, I can't get the mini-window to show above CO. Everything else seems to be working fine though.
I've been getting the same bug for a long time now. It can't just be dying that causes it, because I haven't died once during any of the times I've attempted to complete the mission.
I still feel disappointed every time someone throws something at me and I can't throw something back. It just takes the fun right out of it. It's like a snow ball fight where only one person gets to throw snow balls.
1. Improvements to leveling content would be nice, but I'm not really sure if they have enough devs or resources to do it. 2. That would wreck so many peoples' themes it's not even funny, and would take away one of the game's main draws. That would be almost as bad as making everyone into ATs. Actually, it would be worse…
I'd like to see proof that someone who doesn't build for offense can get similar damage to someone who does build for offense. Judging by the huge differences in dps that I see on parsers between players with different builds, I highly doubt it.
The timer is the main reason I don't queue FM much. As someone who's main isn't really built for dps, me showing up actually decreases everyone else's chances of winning. I don't like being the reason someone fails, so I don't queue much even if it means I won't get all the event stuff I want. Also the cutscenes are really…
Yeah PvP in this game is pretty unbalanced. I'd love it if we could have separate builds for PvP and PvE. It would fix a lot of the problems that those of us who like both PvP and PvE have. That, or somehow make all powers useful in BOTH PvE and PvP. I doubt either of those will ever happen, and I don't know if either of…
I see about the same amount of PvPers using offensive passives as the amount I see using defensive passives. Oh, and I have no idea what kind of build you are using, but if you are using a super tanky build, don't expect to be able to kill everyone. Those kinds of builds just don't do enough damage to kill another tank…
I think it's already balanced by the fact that you really can't do much else while blocking. I mean, it may be hard to do damage to someone who blocks a lot, but they aren't really going to be doing damage to you either. Oh, and if defense really was so much better than everything else, you wouldn't see so many PvPers…
This game still has way more freedom than any other MMO out there, and honestly, it really doesn't take that much to be effective in endgame content. I've seen plenty of hybrids who can pass checks.
Yeah with the way dino's dps checks are, I really don't think it's a good idea to reward people just for showing up. You'd have people showing up and going afk while making the dps checks harder for everyone else.
Maybe if they scored tanks better, this would not be a problem. I still find it silly that you get more points for missing a block than you do for timing your blocks just right.
I don't get it. What's so bad about the separate costume drops? I'm finding it much easier to get all the costume pieces I want than I did when they all came together in one drop. Before, my chances of getting something I wanted out of a lockbox seemed so low that I quit bothering to open them. Now I get costume pieces out…
I've noticed that the numbers on my attacks and heals will increase or decrease randomly sometimes. This is with the same number of stars, same gear, same build, same role, same number of form stacks and everything. Maybe this has something to do with it?
I don't really think I want to see gear progression. There are better ways to make something rewarding than just giving you bigger and bigger numbers imo.
You actually don't need to throw out theme at all. There really aren't a lot of build requirements for cosmics as long as you can dps, tank, heal, or cc. You can have almost any theme and still do one of those things well enough to contribute. You can even make a build that does more than one of those things, if you want.…
By the way, I'm not saying it's too hard. I like Eido's current difficulty, but the only reason I still show up to Eido is because I think it's fun. There just isn't much of a reason to actually farm it. Then again, if people did start farming Eido, it might kinda lose some of what separates it from the other cosmics. The…
I agree with the people saying the UI should be transparent. I like to see as much of the screen as I can when I'm healing so I know where everything is. Being able to resize the boxes would also be nice. Other than that, it's pretty cool imo.
Just because Trump is the president doesn't mean we should respect him. If he wants respect, he needs to do something useful and quit trying to turn America into a joke.
It's probably because the rewards just aren't worth the time it takes to beat him. I mean, it is fun to fight him every now and then, but with how long it takes and the high failure rate, there just isn't much of a reason to do it often.
