How to make the game better.

Hey, I played this game for 2,220 hours and I know exactly how everything works. I've leveled and made so many characters throughout the game but what I do know is that there are so many flaws that someone who is not dedicated into the game is going to probably walk away from this at level 10.

First off leveling between 6-35 is a drag and it makes the game extremely dull and out of touch. It's basically a chore simulator. You go off and you do this then you do this and then oh wow you get to a semi boss. You kill the boss probably really easily and then you go off to another area and you fight another semi boss and then you get to another place and you fight the "BIG BOSS" which is as easy if not easier to kill then any other boss out there (Especially if your a Free form.) Make it feel more action packed. Make it feel like your doing something important EVERY mission instead of beating some people and walking back or grabbing random crates. Oh and the Alert system is basically a spamable system where people do most of their leveling because they don't want to experience the game. They would rather sit and wait for the timer to let them know it's ready and go in. If we look at dungeons from World of Warcraft, in every area from 10 and up there is usually a dungeon or something that a group of adventurers could go in if they are high enough level where there is a promise of good gear and cosmetics. Why CO lacks this? I have no idea but they could make boss areas so much more better if they made it less about grabbing your higher level friend with freeform and pretty much tanking and dealing a ton of damage and clearing it for XP over and over without getting anything besides Resources? Which the only place you'd use that is to customize your character or use it to buy expensive things at the auction house. No other thing in the game is important for you to use them on.

PvP, My god, where do I even begin. The system of PvP between two players is basically who has the better reaction time. Because you won't see a single guy play a non-free form and what everyone does is play a curtain combo with their kit that's meant to do a single one shot and if the guy does not use his defense quick enough he's dead in that second. A simple solution would be to eliminate people from going off the path that they choose like tech only, magic only and physical only.

To RP standards, I must say that I enjoy the profile that you can make that basically anyone can open up but there are a few picky things that I hate and that has something to do with the store. Why is it that there is no way to actually earn point to get yourself some cool looking sets? Like I would expect as I get higher in level my options for costume choices would be more and more open but instead you have allow level 6 heroes looking like the biggest things ever just by having money in their pockets which I must say if they are as dedicated as I am or more then maybe but even then it really desuades people from actually playing the game and instead going straight for the RP. Which is not a bad thing but if you work hard to make an open world just to have people not want to even try it till XP weekend or something to binge through it then you must understand your games not fun.

The world is open which is great, there are little to no invisible walls but the world is lacking in real energy. As it's so huge and has multiple maps that are wonderful and inspiring but there are so many places where I just see nothing.

The biggest problem that I feel is the cheaply pay to win. No one likes that feeling but this game makes it obvious. It has a store that accents Zen which you buy skins you buy a free form slot and all of this stuff is extremely expensive. If you have a freeform slot, that's 25 dollars. that's about half of a game right there just to have some fun. Then we have these chests that we get and we can get keys but OH WAIT you need to put in cash to buy those in the store to open these chests which guess what they drop? most if not all the time nothing and if you want a Vehicle then you gotta get lucky but OH WAIT theres another cash grab. If you want to make your Vehicle do any sort of damage at all then you better put more money into it.

I am not saying I don't believe in this game but if the developers really put something into this game then it would be a market grab. People would want to play this game because guess how many good hero MMORPGs are out there? Currently there are none and I am craving a good Hero game for years after City of Heroes/City of Villains went dead. I really hope I see some admin talk to us about what they plan to do in the future or give us what they can do about these but this was pretty much stand out issues as someone who's played for a very long time.

    1. Improvements to leveling content would be nice, but I'm not really sure if they have enough devs or resources to do it.

    2. That would wreck so many peoples' themes it's not even funny, and would take away one of the game's main draws. That would be almost as bad as making everyone into ATs. Actually, it would be worse because a lot of ATs don't even stick with just one framework.

    3. You can earn cool looking sets. Everything in the zen store can be bought by farming q, and it really doesn't take that long to get enough for a nice costume. There are also lots of costume pieces that can be bought with different kinds of recognition.

    4. I agree. Like the first one though, I'm not sure if they can afford to add a lot of stuff.

    5. The game needs to make money somehow and you can always farm q.
