1. Hexslinger. It actually has the core of what you might use for a freefrom of its set, along w/ resurg, Int prim, and a TW. 2. Nothing. The others are all pretty much bullshit w/ purposeful build problems to try to motivate FF sales.
Bug: the following items (and possibly others) are no longer granting their respective perks if purchased from the event vendor this week: Dance Machine Epic Hang Ten Nine Lives Perfect Ten Saving the Day Tenacious Tenfold The Party's Just Getting Started The Whole Nine Yards
Bug: "Cutting It Close" title purchase from the anniversary vendor is not unlocking correctly. When the item is used, it gives the title "Cloud Nine" and no perk is granted. If the player does not already have the "Cloud Nine" perk, its unlock item becomes unusable, preventing the player from getting that perk as well.
Bug Crashing Incantation's energy cost has increased significantly compared to live. On my Sorcery character, it jumped from 95 on live to 126 on PTS. I'm assuming that this isn't an intended cost adjustment, since it isn't in the patch notes.
Bug: Rabies advantage on the Bite power continues not to refresh Deadly Poison. How to reproduce: Attack a regenerating dummy in the Powerhouse with Bite until Deadly Poison is applied. Continue to attack target with Bite while the poison counts down. It does not refresh & expires at the end of its timer.
Unlike dps, most healer builds aren't defined by sticking primarily to one set; it's more about cherry-picking the powers across different sets that give you the best tools to heal and support. To make a cosmic healer, all you really need to do is stack pre, take an aura, and take iniquity. Other helpful powers include a…
Turning in three of a kind of one of the auras from the arcane lockbox. Iirc, it's either floating orbs or translucent orbs. If you go to the vendor in the recog building (the robot-looking one next to the Teleios guy) it will tell you.
If Fiery Form and Pestilence lost their PBAoE damage, that's a QoL improvement, imo. One way fewer for people to mindlessly wake hearts or heal Destroyer (if he ever returns) just by standing in a bad spot.
Switching End 2SS to Rec should be all you need to do with regards to that. If you have Dist Efficiency Helm, Rec statting will also boost its rng energy returns, and that can help cover the gap from the Defiance change.
As a workaround, I found that if you team with someone that has the first-run version of the mission, the crack becomes interactable and you can enter.
I've encountered the bug where the mission can't be entered as well, but from running it normally. I did part 4 yesterday without issue, but when I tried to run the entire chain today the entrance to the Lemurian temple isn't intractable.
Regardless of whether it's this particular thing, Eido prly does need something of the desirability of, say, a DUC added to his drop table when he returns to incentivize people to run him. Once you have the perk for his costumes, there's not a lot of reasons to go through the effort of organizing for him if his rewards are…
In alerts, no one should care. The only places where bringing a hybrid to dps is detrimental are those with significant dps checks, which are really just dino and Eido.
I'd prly just do a standard build w/ one of the sets that doesn't involve superpowers, e.g. munitions, PBR, or 3 of the 4 MA sets. If the idea is that they aren't supposed to be good at it, then I guess I'd stat them low or build around a weak attack.
If it were my build, I'd drop Ascension for Transcendence and prly Bionic for your AoE. Not having bionic will reduce your viability as a cosmic healer somewhat, but it should be fine. Another alternative for soloing on a pure healer is to pick up some pet and damage devices and slot those on a different build. Psi…
Combat shrinkers would prly make PvP better, if they were visible to all players. All the little guys running away from each other in Ren Cen, it would be so cute.
I think the reasons I would give for rating the sorcery revamp the best are more or less already covered in the posts above, but the biggest is just that it gave me Soul Beam, the ST dps maintain that I had always wanted for my sorcery main. The mechanics of the power allow for some amount of build variety, too, since you…
Unless I'm missing something, the fix hasn't worked completely. My character that did the event got an item to grant them credit, and that gave them the perk. However, I didn't get the emote, and the perk doesn't show on any of my other characters.
I'd keep the lunge, unless you don't plan to run TA. Unbreakable isn't a good AD for cosmics since the damage shield gets eaten up so quickly. One power I would try to fit into the build is a single-target stun or interrupt for pulling the dogs at Kiga.
