When Eidolon of Destruction is brought back to live, it would be great if he had a new shiny to chase. My suggestion is for him to have an extremely rare drop called a Qliphotic Catalyst. This would be a catalyst that would convert any r9 mod into a r10 mod.
This would encourage people to chase the drop to r10 their mods or to sell on the exchange for a large profit. It could also encourage people to rank mods up to 9, so they can later rank to 10 (maybe give a small bump to rank up catalyst sells).
It also seems like it could be fitting from a lore perspective since Citizen Harmon is Shadow Destroyer, and we have the Harmon’s Catalyst already.
Just a random thought that came up when talking about Eidolon with some friends!

so unless they were already planning to add further ranks as part of some larger update...fat chance on this happening
Regardless of whether it's this particular thing, Eido prly does need something of the desirability of, say, a DUC added to his drop table when he returns to incentivize people to run him. Once you have the perk for his costumes, there's not a lot of reasons to go through the effort of organizing for him if his rewards are the same as what you can get from four other easily farmed encounters. If r10s are possible to implement, I think they're definitely the kind of item that could get people interested in him again.

Back on topic. Neat idea, just not a fan of the meta that will happen of this becoming just another item the 1%er's alone can afford.
That said sounds like the kind of game content that I hate as it encourages specialization. Which to me is just plain weak game design as it's the easy path since once that is set up it creates an environment that ultimately only permits that one path to be walked... since gear now needs to support this concept which in turn means that content not built with that mindset is going to be either too easy for the specialists or too hard for the hybrids or worse... it's ignored by the specialists, because it doesn't give them the gear they need to further specialize, and by the hybrids, because they can't survive or beat the content since it was designed with the idea of forced specialization in mind.
I mostly enjoy this game, the stories are amusing and the themes enjoyable. Shame it's not a single player offline game with mod support... I'm fairly certain the modding community would have had a field day with a game like this one.
My super cool CC build and how to use it.

Vet Core is rank 1, not rank 9. It's orange though because it's unique.

There are several differences between the vet core and the mod I proposed. So no, we don't have the vet core for this.

No. But I can read. It has a nice roman numeral I in the corner. That means it is rank 1. But using that as your proof is kind of pointless since you can't fit all mods into the cosmic secondaries to begin with. They are very much exclusive to specific mods only.
