I’m always blown away by the amount of times that people say that one can max a character in a minimal amount of time; thats assumingthat one min/maxes that amount of time, and options. I understand that its only a statement that is saying it isnt that hard, and I agree but I still shake my head that there a probably a ton…
Let’s face it, the game architecture is more than ten years old, and the architects/engineers (Atari and Co.) have been long since gone/extinct from the game. The big question is what is PWE/Cryptic doing to work on a new engine/architecture, that would be able to move the platform for the future? Ten years is an eternity…

WoW SWTOR and other mmos have one and it works just fine over there. Put in a select few safeguards and they work. Folks who habitually call a ton of votes have their…
Just to put my 2 dil' in: I am fine with having players with Admiral ranks commanding a starship. Each of my characters are primary force behind saving the universe a billion times from threats, such as the Borg, the Undine, and the Iconians. Each of them helped the Romulan Republic solidify its position as a legitimate…
Non-US citizens, let your heart not be troubled, Cryptic is offering safe zones with kitty and puppy petting stations, Play-Dough, and milk and cookies to you for coping purposes. :)
I dloaded Arc, tried to redeem the code, all it keeps saying is "The product key you have entered is incorrect. Please check to make sure you've entered a valid key and try again." I am typing it in the way it says it on the card/paper and there are no symbols that can be confused. Come on Cryptic!!
I wish Cryptic would fix the fact that my Command Assualt Cruiser code isn't being accepted by the game, even after dloading the Arc launcher, and properly typing the code!
Imagine the joy of finding a VR MK II weapon of your choice with the four mods you want, now imagine not having to spend all the dil, mats, ec, and time to level said item up. If you were planning in buying keys, this item is a Godsend.
To the very least, they should make the map layout an option for the Fed players to use. It really adds some flavor that I enjoyed. Maybe 23rd century Temporal Agents could get a transwarp back to the 23c ESD l, as a feature.
The whole deal with the Cardasians is the same deal with any group of people, there are good people and bad peope, if the bad people take power for long enough, and are able to institute thier will, the people as a whole do bad things. There are endearing qualities of all of the species in Star Trek, except for the…
I would gladly offer 400 Quatloos for the ship! But seriously, I saved 4 R&D packs for a rainy day, when they are trading for a stupidly high amount. I already got the Connie, I would like to save up enough to get a D7.
OP (if you are still here), I have a character that uses the T6 Manticore (the higher level Chimera), with all mk xii gear, rare TOS blue phasers and a 180 quantum from the Regent, plus whatever gear I have picked ip from drops, and I have not had a squishibily problems at elite setting. Perhaps you should work with some…
I have the T6 TOS Connie, and this ship is superior to the JJPrise. With the same power setup I had for my T6 Excel, the Connie is running a 37' turn rate and moving at 56 vs the Excel's 27' and 42 speed. Add the temporal ability bar, the consoles damage boost, and you find the difference between the TOS and the JJPrise.…
It would be nice to have some sort of additional counter to cloacked ships, such as the modified FAW discussed earlier, maybe give it half of the damage of a regular FAW, and maybe on a crit, to drop the targeted ship from cloak.
null To be honest, I was saying it as a half-joke, knowing that it wouldnt make sense for Cryptic to deafeat thier own purposes. That and to say "quatloo" Quatloo!!! Quatloo!!!
Couldnt Cryptic just create a subtype of currency that gives an inventory token that lumps anything over 1 billion EC, as an overflow? They could name it, the "quatloo".
I will say that I would love to get my hands o. The TOS T6 D7 for my KDF faction toon. The odds, not so good, as I only have 1/4 of the EC that people are wanting. :( At least I have the Connie though :)
@wendysue53 I call bravo sierra to your so called Federal law against charging more than 40% markup on an product/service. I can buy an item for one dollar, that is in the market in a fair-and-reasonable price range of 5-7 dollars, and I can ask $100 for it, its all legal. What I cant do is offer it to one person at x…
I seriously doubt that Cryptic has worked a reasonable price point for the ships, especially with the lack of "finishing" it has, if the ships were cleaned up from the "tree-ring" effect (as someone else her monikered it) that 3D printing leaves, we might be talking a higher vakue item.
As far as the Nebula goes, I would thing the tactical mission pod would be a slot for one front arc weapon, engineer gets a hangar, and science gets a science/uni console slot.
In response to the registry prefix talk, I always liked FASA and Starfleet Battles working of the registry, where they worked in the type of vessel a ship was in the registry. NCC - Command Cruiser/Heavy Cruiser NCL - Light Cruiser NBB - Battleship NFG - Guided missile frigate Etc... As far as pre TOS content, I would love…
Got mine on the first R&D pack I openeded, only reason I opened it was to tempt fate, figured I would open up two, and sell the other 6. Ended up selling 6, and opening a total of 6 just to see if lightning could strike twice. It didn't but it was entertainment at that point. Now I have enough R&D stuff to really craft up…
null @farmallm I cant blame people for spending thier money, I can blame them for whining when things arent made available to them in the way that they want, just bdcause thats the way they want it.
@thunderfoot006 You are certanly entitled to you feelings and opinons, and thats fine. I am a fleet leader of a Beta fleet in an armada. My fleet allows contributions of all of the categories. There are many alpha fleet members moving up the leaderboards of contributions but we are always needing everything but fleetmarks.…
