So I'll admit that I'm a bit miffed that they put the T6 Temporal Light Cruiser in a lockbox instead of making it a purchasable ship. I would buy a bundle of all the Constitution if it was available but it seems lately all the good ships are being put in lockboxes and I honestly don't like gambling, which is what opening those things are.
Anyone know if there are any plans for a T6 Constitution that we can actually BUY?

Like all lockbox and promo pack ships you can buy this. For 900 million to 1 billion EC you can purchase the Temporal Light Cruiser.
It's similar to buying a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship way back in the day. It costs more than the exchange cap, so you need to buy one from a fellow player.
But the value is pretty consistent so far.
You can try to wait it out and see if it drops in price. The factors you face are that the promo is limited so the supply will remain small and so you're hoping the demand eventually wanes.
None whatsoever. Even though I have every iteration, the T6 Connie is vastly OP for it's size. Cryptic have completely lost the plot on what makes sense with regards to ship builds. It shouldn't be out performing ships three times it's size! Basically it's out doing the Arbiter & Vengance, and if it had a cloak it would be a Scimi.

You're joking, right?
Name one other top shelf ship that was suddenly moved to the C store, thereby angering those who already got it and alienating future key/pack purchases?
Can't name any, can you?
There's your answer. It will NEVER happen.
Move on.
That's what I've seen. One guy was selling for 1 billion + 90 Keys, a truly insane amount.

Yes it died really well in Beyond better then the REAL Enterprise did was the most satisfying death of a starship ever. You should have been there opening night in my city every cheered in the hteater when that ugly POS got destroyed.
I have both myself and the Temporal light cruiser is in my opinion, superior.
In the right hands, the TOS Connie is devastating.
You may just be a better player than those other players you mentioned.
With some players, it really doesn't matter what ship they are flying if they don't know what they're doing, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I agree with most of what you're saying. The TOS Connie IS an absolute beast.
Where you around when the Avenger or the Defiant entered the game? Have you seen Deep Space Nine? Have you seen the Rhode Island in Voyager?
Size matters not. Not in Star Trek, not in Star Trek Online.
Not this again. Defiant's are small and they can do a hurting in show.
As for game, I was really lucky to get one, and I love it.
Personally, here's how I would make a T6 sell version, and avoid alienating the ones who went through hell to get the RD one:
Make it T6, but take out the Temporal stuff, give it the standard 4 weapons in front, 4 weapons in back, keep the console set up the same as the Temporal, and make all the Boff seatings universal. No need for a special console. And the ship can be customized via the ship tailor. I'd do the same for D7's and T'Liss's as well. <
I think that's reasonable.
And it's prettier...to me, anyhow.
Might I ask what your build is?
And yet it seems to show up more in game than TOS Connies.
Can't do it that way. Firstly, the Premium/Lockbox ships are all fleet quality. Most of the T6 store offerings are not fleet quality. So likely it would lose a console. Secondly, all universal seating (an aspect of raiders) has a cost associated with it, which is to lose a weapon. So for your suggestion it would be 4/3 weapon layout with 10 consoles.
^^^ THIS is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever seen on the STO Forums.
Why, not too long ago we all came here and were oppressed in our desire for a T6 Constitution class ship. We could barely talk about it and when we did we were met with all kinds of hostility about dead horses, and what cryptic or cbs may have said.
And now, in our bold new post-AoY era, we have come together like never before! And in true Internet Community fashion we have now crossed the event horizon and begun our journey down a path of new Forum greatness: Arguments about WHICH T6 CONNIE IS BETTER!
It chokes me up and brings a tear to my eye to know that I now live in a virtual STO world where the next generation of players and posters can troll/debate/argue/report each other over this hot topic of which endgame ship we used to think we'd NEVER get is the better of the TWO endgame ships we were assured we'd never get!
I'd say may the best debater win, but truly I feel that no matter how this debate goes, we ALL have won a little something special this day. We've gone from a world where they said NO, we'd never ever get this ship, to a world where we can now insult and argue with each other over which of the TWO options we have are better!
And then they make the fleet version which gets the console back.
Oh please, that's because the JJ Connie can be had for a song on the Exchange. I could buy two of them and the price still wouldn't get me a real Connie.
nah you need third party testing, you really ought to give me one and let me test it.. :P
The TOS one is hard to come by, the JJprise not that much. Hence the greater numbers.
^^^ This will be my favorite forum quote of the year, I'm sure.
