Issue with this post is that Dil Exchange was not, at any point actually "disabled", and current state of DilEx is pretty much issue of negligence more than intentional sabotage.

Well teeeechnically speaking there is a small subset of laptops/netbooks that ran win7 that do not fill in minimal requirements for win10. That's not how economy works. Unbound traces being sold meant that EC was being redistributed among playerbase. It did not "produce" EC therefore there is no talk about inflation possible, period.

while I am no expert on actuall "tanking" I'd not really suggest luna variants as a "tanky" ship. actually personally the only way I could consider luna variants a "tank" material is if the game was setup in a way allowing for a proper shield tank, aka no bleedthrough, no shield ignoring abilities, no shield drains.....

the only space craft in STO actually called "frigate" in STO I am aware off is a largest type of hangar pet..... and then personally I don;t really care hwo exacly cryptic will call the thing - would love to see it in game any way :)

las ttime I checked there was T1 or T2 connie available for free at the end of tutorial or if you picked different ship at that point - for something like one daily refinement of dilithium, so saying "any" is little bit far stretched

in distress signal they claim to have "no power", not "no warp power" - "no power" which implies they should not be able to even fire up impulses. and then if you lurk to deep into this you may start to ask question how did they even maganed to send off the distress signal.....

well yeah, because the UI was totally telling you also what rewards are in which queues and if you wanted - lets say....... temporal marks all they needed to memorise is order of letters in the alphabet....... EDIT: shiet and I promised myself to not engage into this thread anymore xD

yes you didn't say "common knowledge" you only merely said "it is not un-common knowledge" which merely means the same. in response to post justifying that to someone who didn't pursued advanced knowledge on mechanics, things that high end dpsers are doing may feel like some sort for exploits and abusing "broken mechanics"…
