Best pets KDF side are Elite Naussicans by a far margin. They out DPS all others my KDF main has access to. You unlock them with the T6 Kolasi/Fleet Guramba. Otherwise Elite Scorps if you do not. But, the Scorps do around 4-5k a hanger, Elite Naussicans 5-7k a Hanger.

Did 2 pugs with this. Fed Tac in Astika, 2 MKXIV Flow consoles. Says like 5.1k Explosion. 5 Min Pug run, 5k was done by Explosions. KDF Engie in Hazari DHC build, 2 EPIC MK XIV Flow consoles. Says like 6.3k Explosion. 9 Min bad Pug, less then 1k by Explosions...lol So.....looks like random as ever.

Hell I wish they'd get rid of that as well as drop the rank. As in, Commander Sci gets Grav well III LTC Sci gets Grav Well II Lt Sci gets Grav well I No reason at this point to have SS2 and SS3 share the same position, etc. It feels like a mechanic from yesteryear. As others have said. Gotta give up some DPS for more survivability. I use Dyson shield + Kobali 2 Piece. And yes a Command ship does survive better then the rest because of Rally marker Boff skill. But, it's not needed. I wish all Advanced content had its own threat like the new Borg Shield Drain.

I have done it, and in the Phantom. And IMO it felt goofy as hell. Zippy little Disco ball. In both a Tac and an Engie. And I Pug about 90% of my Gametime. I pug average 28k as an Engie using DHC's without using Surgical Stikes at all. I would get more with the same DHC build in the Phantom if I could stand the look of it…

Anyone who purchases based on something that is obviously Not WAI. Can't gripe about it afterwards. They knew going into it it could/should get fixed at some point. It's your wanting Bigger DPS numbers thats the real problem here. Go Cannons, either CSV or CRF or SS3 and helping a pug is not a problem. My Engineers win more pugs by either Going Cannons or bringing a Grav well along for the ride. With Cannons, not gonna get the same DPS numbers but your gonna do ALOT more damage to the…

Did swap out for the Borg Def/Eng combo, and the Delta shield (50% shield drain Res) Went alot smoother. Took in 70% of the damage, never died. So yeah, change setups. Dropped the Nukara 2 piece. Don't tank without the right gear for it. Basically Worst case.....Go blazing in as a Beamscort with DPS gear and yeah. lol…
