Nice console but 2km radius makes it more or less ineffective unless you plan on diving into the middle of a fleet of enemies. I propose this be increased to 5km at least with a preference for 10km.
I have to agree here. 2km is barely more than the ship itself. It's effective if you plow right into the CE but not for much else. The passive bonuses are nice, but at least increase the effective radius to 5-7km otherwise it's rather useless to say the least.

I am already playing with the thought of combining it with reverse tractor repulsors and warp plasma. That should be pretty effective, I assume the field uses exotic damage?

I do like the console, especially the passive bonus, but I have to agree 2km is a bit short perhaps 3-3.5km would be better? I dunno, I haven't used its active ability in combat very often to have much perspective here...

Huh. I didn't see a change in the buff I gained/lost with it until npc's moved in or out of 5k.

EDIT: Double checked with all my traits, blah blah, passives, blah blah, removed. 2 K. Was doing 2.9 K damage ticks vs 3 frigates.

That's what it's supposed to be for, considering it scales with the number of enemies in that field. I've mostly used to help kill Transformers in ISA (they're not going to move away on you), and activating it when swarmed by enemies, which is happening to me a lot in CCA with all the FAW spam I'm putting out, or to pop stubborn enemies that I can get close to, like Recluses (they started it with their anti-fighter AoE thing).
I could see increasing to 3-3.5 km like orion0029 suggested, but not 5.

What exactly are the passives from the console?
+5 max all power levels. (doesn't stack with other bonuses)
Basically it lets you sit at 130 power on all subsystems instead of 125 if you do it right.:cool:
