I think this is a bad idea. Last year many people spent extra time playing the event because it meant they could get the next years ship early. Yes, my Guardian has green warp trails. I have mostly Borg tech, but the visuals (as always) are turned off. I was only flying it for the trait, and I achieved that yesterday so I'll be switching to a Fleet Andromeda later today with mostly the same gear. I'll report back.

I really like the look of these ships, they're visually stunning, and sufficiently different to peak my interest. That said, the video is sub standard and not fit for purpose if you're really wanting to make a good impression.

I must really be missing something. I have a Galaxy-R-T5U and this T6 has less hull than what I've currently got (53,334). I can see that I will gain a Tac BOFF slot and change a Ens Eng to a Ens Uni, but that's it. Even the console slots are the same as I've got now.
